I have been triple checking the asymmetry of this cosplay every step of the way. Just now when I put this vest on the form I had another panic that I’d gotten it wrong. I once made an entire costume backwards for a Cirque du Soleil show and I’ve been paranoid that I’ll do it again ever since. Luckily, this one is correct, and I won’t have to flip all of my photos.

I’ve been planning this cosplay for what seems like forever! I bought all the fabric for it last summer, and I’m finally getting to it. While we were watching Andor, my husband literally said to me “so how many of Mon Mothma’s looks are you cosplaying?” 😆 He knows me so well. I just couldn’t stop drooling over the gorgeous tailoring of this look. Yes, I will be making all of the layers. I hope to have this costume complete by

The saga of the necklace! Back when I first made Historical Anna, I purchased the official necklace she wears with the symbol of Arendelle. (Picture 1)
As I packed for FanX Salt Lake, I could not find it! I instead panic packed an emergency backup: black velvet ribbon and a medallion in the correct size and close in color. It has dragonflies on it, but it was better than nothing. I made them into a necklace the night before the competition. (Picture 2)
Of course, I forgot to put it on for the in person judging!! I’m not wearing any necklace in the official professional photos. 🤦🏻‍♀️ (Picture 3)
