As I’m standing here cooking dinner, spaghetti if you’re wondering. I’m reminded of a video I saw recently where people were talking about “struggle meals” and someone said they couldn’t stand spaghetti because it was a struggle meal.

Yes, spaghetti is reasonably cheap to make, I would argue the price is easily offset by the love that goes into making it.

And that same principle can be applied across the board. Not all meals need to be a sizable porterhouse, or salmon, or whatever your favorite expensive vegan meal is. There’s something beautiful to be said about a simple meal, seasoned to perfection, and made with joy and love.
