Important Announcement: Monthly Recharge Mawlid

Salam dear brothers and sisters,

We would like to inform you that our upcoming Monthly Recharge Mawlid for October, originally scheduled for tonight, has been rescheduled to:

Sunday, 6th October
Time: 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Venue: Suntec City

This change comes as we have received a special invitation from Darul Arqam to lead the full Mawlid at Suntec City.

Please note: Admission is free, but registration is compulsory as seats are very limited. We look forward to welcoming you this Sunday, inshaAllah.

Our July Mawlid coincides with the Islamic New Year 1446 Hijri!

Event will start early at 6:30pm to recite the End of Year Supplication, followed by the New Year Supplication after Maghrib prayer, and the Mawlid will begin earlier at 8:00pm. Please come wudhu-ready.

Join us for our monthly "recharge" session for the hearts, where we express our love for Allah and our Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and gather with our community over Mawlid, soothing Qasidahs and storytelling by our beloved sinless little angels - the kids. Event is suitable for the whole family and all ages, so bring your parents and children!

The REcharge Mawlid

Photos of Mawlid on 2nd March 2024, graced by the presence of our beloved local Asatizah; Ustaz Muhammad Fahmi Tarmudi, Ustaz Muhammad Nazeeh Mohd, and Ustaz Syed Muhammad Umar Alkaff. May Allah increase them in all goodness and continue to make them a benefit for the ummah.

We are happy to keep our Mawlid "Children-friendly," with kids presenting the storytelling, participating in quizzes, playing percussions, and singing beautiful qasidahs. May Allah bless and reward all parents for bringing their children, and may He bless and reward everyone who attended and volunteered!

Night of Remembrance (NOR)
Thursday 30 May 2024, Maghrib.

Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Friday is the master of days and the greatest of them before Allah. It is greater before Allah than the day of al-Adha and the day of al-Fitr." (Narrated by Ibn Majah)

In Islam, a new day begins at Maghrib. Hence, the eve of Fridays (Malam Jumaat) holds special reverence among Muslims as we dedicate our time to worship and reflection with Allah.

Recognizing that not everyone can dedicate themselves every week, this initiative (NOR) encourages us to set aside at least one Friday evening per month, particularly the last Friday eve, for collective devotion.

Why gather? The Prophet mentioned that Angels descend and roam the earth seeking gatherings of remembrance, tranquility descends upon those in the gatherings and mercy envelopes them, and Allah mentions them to those in His company!

Open to both brothers and sisters, our gathering begins with Maghrib prayer followed by recitation of Yasin, Kahfi, Al-Mulk, and Qasaid. We will also make doa for Palestine and conclude with Isyak prayer.

Alhamdulillah, our recent Mawlid session on 1st October 2023 was blessed to be graced by several honourable and esteemed guests!

Special guest Habib Mahdi Al Hamid from Hadramaut (based in Malaysia), Guest of honor our beloved teacher Ustaz Md Hasbi Hassan, and our asatizah: Ustaz Mohamed Mazdiuky Mohamed Ishak, Ustaz Sofyan Yadi, Ustaz Md Izzam Ahmad, Ustaz Md Nur Fahmi Tarmudi, Ustaz Md Nazeeh Mohamad, Ustaz Firdaus Ismail and Ustaz Muhammad Aidrus Abd Hamid. The evening was serenaded by the voices of our little angels as that day’s Mawlid was fully run by kids!

Thank you for everyone who made time and were willing to squeeze in our tiny space for the event.

Special thanks also to brother Fadzuli Wahab for his “rescue” and assistance in setting up the video equipment.

One key takeaway from the words of wisdom shared by Ustaz Hasbi Hassan: “How blessed are the parents whose child have been raised to continuously send praises and salutations to Rasulullah ‎ﷺ. For not only their names will be known to him ‎ﷺ, but also the names of their fathers and mothers!”

May Allah accept our small gesture of love for His Beloved ‎ﷺ.
