Bringing frantic uproars to Leuven's nightlife. Promising artists x local talent. A person's personality can be described by his or her comfort zones.
The comfort zone is a behavioural state within which a person operates in an anxiety-neutral condition, using a limited set of behaviours to deliver a steady level of performance, usually without a sense of risk. A comfort zone can also be discribed as a type of mental conditioning that causes a person to create and operate mental boundaries. Such boundaries create an unfounded sense of security.
Like inertia, a person who has established a comfort zone in a particular axis of his or her life, will tend to stay within that zone without stepping outside of it. To step outside their comfort zone, a person must experiment with new and different behaviors, and then experience the new and different responses that occur within their environment.

MISSION STATEMENT
COMFORT ZONE’s mission is to bring promising talented artists from Belgium and Europe together to create a frantic Thursday uproar in the local nocturnal venues. The main format in which we offer this is called Trauma. We want the students of Leuven to enjoy being annihilated by the options we present them. When they leave Trauma they should be exhausted to the moment of despair and wonder how they have been pushed so far by some of techno’s artistic geniuses. But they also should be inspired, armed with an experience that has took them out of their comfort zone.
Trauma’s n°1 room experiences a vigorous string of heavyweight techno artists supported by promising talents. We always try to bring together acts that were never combined in Belgium before, thus we create a new experience for each participant.
Room n°2 is smaller, but that is part of the charm, cause when it gets invaded by some of Leuvens most gifted gurus of funkiness, the dancefloor becomes a deathtrap of which you cannot escape.
Since we started with this project, some of out team members grew up and left. But we always tried to replace them with equally motivated and enthusiastic people. Through this proces we try to be innovative and break some boundaries each time.
We want to thank you guys for the support you’ve already showed and hope this will continue in the future.
