Our Story

Thank you so much for taking the time to look at our page!! Bob and I started Sign Gypsies Ames in February of 2019- so we are still learning! But so far, we are having so much fun bringing these fabulous yard greetings to our neighborhoods. We have lived in Ames for 7 years now. I am a native of Newton, IA and attended Iowa State. Bob was born and raised in Phoenix, AZ and he works full time as an RN. (Sometimes he wonders how he got to these frigid plains ;)) We have 4 wonderful children- Taylor who will be 19 this year, Ava is 9, Colin is 7 and Gavin is soon to be 3. Yard greeting signs have been a hit in the south for years, and we are very anxious to introduce them here in central Iowa.
