Cody Binx

Cody Binx Trance enthusiast bringing people together with one beat at a time! Creator of the radio show "Bring Back The Night" We heard you have a radio show? “I do!

I have a podcast that is called ‘Bring Back The Night’ that features all of the current trance tracks that are rocking my world! I also co-host a radio show called "Elevated Frequencies Radio" which is based in Las Vegas and broadcasted on the KCOR Radio Network! For years I’ve been making mixes and giving them to people, I decided to turn those into an actual one-hour show.”

What was the first t

rance song that captured your attention? “That’s easy, ATB – Ecstasy! I’ll never forget that moment. I was shopping for new headphones in the Apple Store, hit shuffle on one of their demo iPods and ATB’s famous song “Ecstasy” played. I’ll never forget what it felt like hearing that song for the first time. “

Who was the first Trance act you seen live? “Armin van Buuren on October 3, 2008 in Park City, UT at the famous Harry O’s night club – I remember it like it was yesterday! I’ll never forget hearing him play 4 Strings ‘Take Me Away’ or his song ‘Unforgivable’ featuring the vocals of the amazing Jaren. That show was actually the first time I bonded with a complete stranger when he played his hit song with Chris Jones ‘Going Wrong’ That show forever changed my life!”

Who are your favorite female vocalists? “I’m a complete sucker for anything from Christina Novelli, Jaren, Aruna, Ana Criado, Jennifer Rene, and Roxanne Emery.”

You’re about to be marooned on a deserted island, with a solar powered iPod dock. You’re allowed to take 5 albums with you. Which albums do you take?
1) Armin van Buuren’s “Imagine” album
2) ATB’s “No Silence” album
3) Cosmic Gate’s “Start To Feel” album
4) Above and Beyond “We Are All We Need” album
5) BT’s “These Hopeful Machines” album

What do you do in your free time? “I love the outdoors! There’s something special about being out in nature, disconnected and breathing fresh air. Rather it be in the mountains surrounded by the wind blowing through the pines or on a beach somewhere soaking up the rays – It’s amazing to just shut down the daily life and just be there.”
