Remember that rainy weekend we had at the end of September? It rained the entire drive down the parkway, and when we entered Avalon, there was no rain in sight! The sun was even periodically peaking through the clouds. Emily + Daniel had the perfect beach wedding at . Sometimes I need someone to pinch me, because we get the nicest brides and grooms. It’s the secret ingredient. This bombshell has never looked so pretty. It’s not her luscious locks, her stunning dress, or even that gorgeous bouquet in his hands. Enter in Christine, this smoke-show of a bride, 8 years ago when she did the makeup for my wedding day. 8 years later and we got to repay her and do the flowers for her big day! Christine was the most laid back bride I have ever worked with. She essentially let us do what we do best. During one of our conversations, she said ‘whatever you come up with will look amazing, I know you’ll put your heart into whatever you do.’ The rest is history. That feeling when your friends choose you to be your florist and then proceed to use your recommended vendors 💫

Dana has been in my life for 10+ years. It’s so rare to find such a beautiful soul in your adult life, but when you know, you know. We’ve been in each others lives for all big and small life events and everywhere in between. Everyone needs a Dana, trust me on this! Then in came Kyle and turned her world right side up and things all made sense. Fast forward to this past September on the most beautiful fall day, and I got to watch the real life fairy tale unfold. There were very few dry eyes on the green that day.

| Ashley + Sarah | 9.4.2022

Sneak Peaks into one of the most fun weddings we got to beautify and attend! This was a special one for me. I met Ashley in middle school on the track and field team. We became fast best friends and our friendship has only flourished since. Ashley is one of those people that can talk to anyone, and come out friends at the end of a conversation. She’s a friend you can bring anywhere and not worry that she’s not having a good time. Time with Ashley is well spent. The 20+ years of friendship have proven this time and time again.

Then enter Sarah. Kind, charismatic, and passionate. Sarah opened up Ashley’s world. When Sarah came into the picture, I could visibly see the change in Ashley - Happy and glowing. I knew that Sarah would be the one she spent forever with.

Sarah and Ashley had a camp wedding up in Barryville, NY. When I saw camp, I mean summer camp with cabins, bunk beds, and communal bathrooms. It was all the feels of sleep over summer camp from childhood. Not only did we attend the wedding day, but there was a colors wars filled with all types of different games. 4 different teams of colors, with teams 20 people deep. Competitive is an understatement. They brought everyone together the day before the wedding in team building and friendship making fun. If that wasn’t the icing on the cake, we tubes down the Delaware the morning of the wedding. Typically brides are up at 7am, getting ready with hair and make up. Not these two. We were up at 8am, with bathing suits, coolers full of beverages, and party rafts, soaking up all sights. We made it back just in time to set up all of the wedding decor, get ready and celebrate the Brides of the night. Epic is the perfect word for the night, and really the whole weekend.
