So many fun costumes on the go. Today I plan to relax with needle and thread to finish of a few then onto a stunning 🤩 fun white with silver dance costume.

I was thrilled this summer when I was able to combine my passion for painting with costume design, but the best part was watching the very talented Melisande dance. She performed twice this month on the television dance show Revolution and both times took my breath away.

Handsewing and adding crystals makes a perfect afternoon for me. I find this stage of the costume the most relaxing 😌.

It is raining almost everywhere in Canada so I thought to brighten things up with a stunning image of this floral romantic skirt created for

Lacy black on black Leo. I enjoyed a relaxing day handsewing with hot cup of tea by my side while outside was drab and rainy. Tomorrow this will get stoned then shipped out west.

This week I have had the pleasure to test out a new pattern from Tutus that dance #6020 size A.
This pattern was great to put together and has so many lovely options for a variety of neckline shapes, I will definitely be using it again.
This lovely simple white romantic will be up for sale on Etsy if this interests you or your dancer measurements are provided below.
Considering this is stretch there will be some give if your measurements are not exact with what I have written.
White Leo is completely lined.
Fits:
Bust 30”
Waist 23.5”
Hip 33”
Girth 53”
And skirt length is 27”

This was so much fun to create for Miss Ella. and I handcrafted this delightful Dorothy together. So many Dorothy dance dresses are loose and not flattering. It was important to Susie and I that we created a dance costume to be Dorothy yet very ballet , fit and flow well on stage.
