After 10 incredible open mic nights, we are truly sad to say that Rukus events team and the Causing a Rukus open mic night will be parting ways with The Chairman.

Don’t worry though, we have it on good authority that the guys over at The Chairman have something yet to be named in the pipeline as an alternative, so you’ll still be able to get your fortnightly fix!
Make sure to keep an eye on The Chairman’s page for further updates!

Finally, we would like to thank the people who have made our little community so special for sticking with us over the last five months and being overall amazing, we hope to see you all again soon ❤️

It’s the tenth Causing a Rukus Open Mic Night at The Chairman tonight!

The night has grown so much since we started and we would love for you to join us and our performing community this evening at 8pm.

We offer some of the greatest local musicians alongside the best snacks and drinks in Middlesbrough! And if you don’t believe us take a look at some of our testimonials in the video below.

To see James’ next sartorial concoction make sure to get yourself down to The Chairman next Wednesday at 8pm... oh and there’ll be some great music and refreshments to go with it!

One thing we absolutely love about our open mic nights is the sheer variety of performers that we get to enjoy.

One of last nights stand out acts were blues mojo, a fantastic blues two piece based in Hartlepool!

You can expect to see all sorts, from blues to rock to spoken word at our next open mic night on the 7th of August at The Chairman!

Teesside are you ready for another astounding night of live music?

If you are make sure to get yourself down to The Chairman tomorrow evening at 8pm sharp.

You can expect:

• Fantastic live music from some of Teesside’s best up and coming musicians!

• The host with the absolute most James Lewis Mockett!

• An excellent selection of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages!

And finally

• The chance to get up and show us all what you’ve got, whether you’re a musician or a poet we always love to see fresh faces up on the stage!

Tonight Rukus are back at the lovely surroundings of The Chairman for their ever growing open mic evening! What better way to tackle the mid-week blues than with some live music and great company! Get yourselves down for 8pm onwards and check it out for yourself🎸😊🎤🍻

With an ever growing roster of incredible local performers there is truly no better time to get down to one of our Rukus open mic nights at The Chairman!

The next open mic night will be being held tomorrow night (Wednesday 12th June) at The Chairman on Bedford Street, Middlesbrough.

Make sure to come along and bring your friends for another great evening of live entertainment 🍺🎉🎙
