🎤 Severn Sounds is Hanging Up the Mics! 🎤

After years of showcasing incredible young talent, the Severn Sounds team is bidding a heartfelt farewell!

Founded by Scott Howland and Ben Russell, Severn Sounds began as a platform for young musicians to perform at local venues. With unwavering support from Rob Thomson, our dream expanded to a full weekend at The Pavilion, where hundreds of young musicians wowed audiences with their original music and covers. 🎶

Our journey continued to Mello Festival! MASSIVE thank you to Cass & Steina Castledine & the Sunshine Festival team... Spencer Lowe Steve Barnes & Steve High!

We were honoured to work with the fantastic team at One Stage Technical (now Eventera AV Limited) under Mike Vayle, alongside Jack Bates, Charles Schofield, Chelsea Westlake, and Bobby Hanson. 🌟

Thanks to everyone’s generosity, we’ve raised thousands for local charities, including Acorns Children's Hospice, New Hope Worcester, and Worcestershire Breast Unit Haven which recently received £3,686.95! ❤️

To all the volunteers, committee members, and supporters who made Severn Sounds possible—from Scott Howland and Ben Russell to all of you who lent a hand or voice—thank you. And to the incredible young musicians who have graced our stages, you are what made Severn Sounds truly special. 🙏🎸

CHARITY AFTERNOON

We are super proud to announce that Lolly Parton will be hosting a family charity afternoon at The Berkeley Arms, St John's, in June.

After the announcement that Breast Fest would no longer be taking place, Bev at The Berkeley has very kindly offered us a space to raise money for the Worcestershire Breast Unit Haven

Refunds have now been processed for those who have requested them, by Eventbrite, and should reach your bank accounts within 48 hours or less. Any problems please email: [email protected] and we can chase.

We have been liaising with Worcestershire Breast Unit Haven and once our accounts have been finalised we will let you know how much has been donated to this amazing local cause!

Absolutely gutted to cancel this charity festival for but just not viable as very few tickets have sold!

We're so thankful to all of the bands, performers, sound team, caterers & volunteers who offered to play and give up their time. ❤🙏

With heavy hearts, we have had to make the decision to cancel Breast Fest

Due to poor ticket sales the festival is just not viable and we felt we needed to give our performers and bands, sound team and caterers notice to be able to find alternative gigs.

All tickets purchased have been offered refunds.

Many thanks all.

Remaining Severn Sounds funding will be donated directly to Worcestershire Breast Unit Haven and we hope this will support their amazing work within our community.

Malvern Gin Festival is looking for acoustic musicians & singers to entertain visitors at Malvern Gin Festival.

The Gin Festival is on:

Friday 18th August from 4pm
Saturday 19th August from 1pm
Sunday 20th August from 1pm

There will be music at some of the venues (see list below) but they would also like to set some entertainment up on Bellevue Island in the centre of town.
