Tio Tanous journey began in 1919 when Tanous, the grandfather, returned from the USA and coupled with Farida to start a small cuisine using basic yet prime ingredients. Ninety years later, Tanous' grandchildren ventured in putting up few chairs and wooden tables in the middle of a small valley between the pine trees, with a plan. The plan consisted to serve the best authentic Lebanese food. The plan worked.
a catering arm originated when one of the cousins decided to join hands and participate in rebuilding the legacy.
We added few extra plates, some fancy forks and knives, boosted our cuisine, enlarged the kitchen and called it:

Table Tio Tanous’ mission is to bring to your door steps, your backyard and garden, our recipe: authenticity, passion and love.
Our recipe has been seeded, nourished and lived in Tio Tanous.
As it grew we decided to move on and cater for events of all shapes and sizes; from private intimate dinners at home, bars, canapé dining, sit-down dinners, breakfasts, press-days, food & wine tasting menus to special events, corporate brunches and weddings.

We use organic products and design our menus accordingly using seasonal and locally sourced ingredients.
Keeping it simple, we believed that we could take catering back to basics – offering an excellent food service focusing on what was on the plate, where it came from and serving it at ITS BEST.
