My daughter loves rainbows. And I can’t disagree with her. I love a rainbow of flowers. And a rainbow of dahlias? Even better. How can you ever pick a favorite??

I think I like this little life. The dreaming, the growing, the joy that flowers bring. It’s what make 0 degree days feel warm ❤️

This year has been the year for bangle corsages! And hence the plethora of floral adhesive tubes laying around.
Here are five of my favorite tips for using floral adhesive…
1. Make that first squeeze ever so gently! There is a small amount of air in the tube and once it’s gone that glue is going to come at you like hot lava!
2. A little goes a long way. When you squeeze start with a smaller amount than you think you need! It’s easier to add more than to take it off.
3. After applying to the back of a flower or leaf, hold it in place for a beat. If there is a lot of glue, it will take a second before it sets.
4. Protect your work station. If you happen to get glue on something it shouldn’t be on, let it dry! Once it’s dry you can roll it off most hard surfaces. (Even your fingers and nails!)
5. Clean the applicator tip off frequently. Dried adhesive will build up on the end. Pull it and other build up off for a clean application. Most importantly clean off the end and let it dry before putting the cap back on! If you put the cap back on while it’s still covered in wet glue, that cap may be on for life 🤭
Happy gluing!
