I’m alive, I swear. It’s been a hectic few months. My normal 9-5 has been ramped up taking most of my time. My step daughter is in full swing completing 5th grade and doing a bunch of extra curricular activities. I’ve also been dealing with low back pain for months now, which I’m doing PT and lifting weights weekly to try and solve for that. All that said, I’m still working on fun stuff when I can. Looking to complete this silicone mask for Denver Fan Expo with a full costume attached. Red Skull grim reaper. Going for a mix of old and new. Kirby influenced. Large chonky eyebrows. Long nasolabial folds and a scowl. There’s also a short film coming out this year, “You Wake to Find Yourself Alone in the Woods”. A horror comedy I was lucky enough to be a part of. When I can, I’ll share more details and point you all to a viewing link. It’s pretty hilarious.
Cheers guys! Stay safe and enjoy it while you can.
What If… Hydra experimented with floppy eared lagomorphs. Just kidding, it’s a wip of a Red Skull silicone mask. Still blocking out the shape of it all. 💀
I just wanted to say a quick thank you to & with for trusting me to help bring their short film to life. Not only did I get to build a couple props & the costume, I got to bring the character to life. Pretty awesome experience. Thanks to the rest of the cast and crew for doing an amazing job all weekend too.
Look for “You Wake to Find Yourself Alone in the Woods” on the festival circuit next year! I can’t wait to see this thing.
Heads are gonna roll. Thanks to for lending his mold & casting skills. Paint job by me. 1st time doing a realistic paint job on a head.
This mask is ready to slash some hikers. Excited to see this on film!
Client comission done. Time to mold & cast. Pray for me 🙏

Finished an original mask design. Swipe to see it’s sketch. 🌲💀 This is going to be for a short film shot here in Denver!
Here’s a cleaner look at my latest sculpt
Getting up close and personal with my latest creation - vigilante torso armor made out of Monster Maker clay. Texturing is the best part. I can’t wait to see this armor come to life and take on its mission. Stay tuned for more updates on my artistic endeavors. 🤘🎨
It’s a scream, baby!
After almost a three year hiatus it feels REAL good to complete a new costume. It took about a week and a half to put this together. I taught myself how to sew for it. I hadn’t really touched a needle and thread in almost 20 years, since Home Ec class. 😅
Hopefully, I’ll get some fun pics this weekend! Thanks for sticking around all this time.🙏🩸🔪
P.S. Scream 6 is pretty good! Brutal. It does enough new things for me to say it’s better than 5 and 3
Happy Ash Wednesday from me to you. 🙏

Get Out…

Finally put together a Terminator cosplay! It was about two years in the works. With the pandemic and life getting super big, I finally had some time to put this all together. This project started my journey into SFX makeup and sculpting and it’s nice to finally have something to show for it. Is it accurate or perfect, hell no. I failed super hard building my own prosthetic for the face. I bit off more than I could chew. Especially as a rookie. But I got to work with as he helped shape my skills and foster my growth. 🙌
On to the next.

I overdo things but at least Nora approves.
So uh… who’s going to Fan Expo Denver tomorrow? 😎
Making progress… one hour session at a time. Now it’s time to smooth, refine and detail!
I’m thinking once I’m done with this it can be worn a couple of different ways. It’s going to have a leather texture with some dings and dents. So it can worn like that or put some fabric over it. Much like Ben Affleck’s Batman suit. 🦇🃏

TOTS 78 Rehaul & Process shots 🎃🔪
———
• removed original hair and smoothed paint that ripped off with the glue
• tan skin tone paint to match original Shatner mask
• white paint layer plus light weathering
• heavier weathering
• applied camel hair, added black to hair and gloss seal
• hair styling & dialed back some weathering

TOTS 78 Rehaul 🎃🔪

I decided to soften up the weathering and gloss I put on the version I posted earlier. I also glued the mouth shut. I’m pretty pleased with the result of this compared to the previous version. What do you guys think? Which version is better?

TOTS 78 Rehaul 🔪🎃

Super excited with how this guy turned out. First time rehauling a latex mask. Lots of research went into how to make this guy as accurate as possible to the 1978 film. If you’re into this sort of thing, definitely check out michealmeyers.net. So many avid collectors and fans on that forum. Also check out . That person’s work in this specific area of study is amazing! I definitely tried my best to compete. Thanks everyone! I’ll post a breakdown later this week. P.S Hairing a mask is not fun.

You guys, I’m know I’m being annoying about this but I’m in a really tight race to win naming the official beer at Denver Fan Expo this year! I’d love your votes. So if I’ve messaged you and helped you with a cosplay, told you how cool you are or gave you some love, pay it back and give me a vote! Much love!
Vote - “Set Phazers to Stun” for the win! Link is in the bio of
Thanks everyone!
My dudes & dudettes, non-binaries and fellow ghouls. I’ve got some news to share. Over the last couple of months Stephanie and I have been working on buying a new home. Well, we did it! Closing today. That said, I need to take a break from creating as all of my stuff is going into boxes. But… the new house has a studio space! So over the next couple of months I’ll be moving and doing all the things that come with owning a new house.
Once my studio is set up, I’ll be back and ready to chase new goals and finish old ones! See you in a few months!
Just received this beauty from - It’s an absolute marvel of a Mogwai! Just in time for Christmas too. Great work, Denny!

Halloween will never die! At least not for me. I did a rehaul of this Friday the 13th mask from . Wanted it to look more like Part IV: The Final Chapter. It’s not exact, but a fun little project! Last shot is how it originally came from Nick. Cheers! Thanks for looking. 💀

Here’s a little progress mixed with a crash zoom for 2024. Had a blast casting the chest armor I sculpted awhile back. Pretty cool that it resembles Batman 89’ (cast it in rubber).
