I started in 2009 doing zombie makeup. It's amazing! It allows me to paint using faces as my canvas, drawing out the extreme to make it unique. My fascination with makeup started when I painted my Barbies' faces with markers as well as my brothers and cousins (with markers, of course). From then, I decided to put my face painting skills to use and worked on a student film, weddings, quinceneras, photoshoots, etc. as well as countless numbers of faces for Dia de los mu***os. Every face is a unique and fresh canvas . the passion and love I have for colors shows through my work. Meet the person behind the photos:
"A picture is worth 1000 words." There is no arguing that statement. Philly born, LA raised, this bicoastal kid always took over the camera, and taking candid photos. Where's the emotion and fun if every picture is structured and posed? She aims to capture the sweetest moments and genuine emotions (a smile on a kid's face while he's riding a 4-wheeler, a graduate's accomplishments) in her photos. The way she sees it, photographers can control poses, but they can't control emotions. You can have a great photo with a structured pose, and no words; or you can have that one amazing photo that says it all.
