Savannah and Ford were United in marriage at Venue 1223 this evening at 5:00pm. It was cold but sunny and 40 family members and friends joined the couple to celebrate their love and public commitment.

After two cancelations, Mercedes from Brazil and Scott from Hilton Head were United in marriage at 11:00am in 45 degree cold! Kudos to Mercedes for withstanding harsh weather in her beautiful but sheer white wedding dress.
She was very cold but through her photography and ceremony, Mercedes stood tall and proud. Scott and Mercedes have a great future together.

The Liberty Oak tree at Harbour Town (Sea Pines) was the setting for Keith and Patty’s ceremony on this beautiful Sunday afternoon. The couple are from Lexington, South Carolina and are spending the week on the Island. Congratulations to this great couple!

My second wedding today was at the Shipyard Beach club on HHI. Amanda and Harrison from HHI, with 60 family members and friends met on the beach for a beautiful and inspiring wedding. Amanda is a HHI lifeguard and her wedding party attendants were all HHI lifeguards. I have great respect for these athletes, they are amazing. I enjoyed several lifeguard stories this weekend.

Because of weather issues this week, I officiated two weddings today which I rarely do. However, Anna, Paul (from Michigan) and I with their photographer met on Fishhaul beach on HHI at 2:00pm today. I was fascinated to learn that Anna is an 18 year ICE agent in charge of capturing, arresting and deporting criminal illegals out of our country. With a new US President, Anna knows her workload will increase astronomically.

Sam and Charlotte from Boston, Massachusetts, with 250 family members, friends, guests and colleagues were United in marriage today at the Summerset Chapel at Palmetto Bluff.
Because of the number of guests, I couldn’t get a post-wedding picture of them in full wedding apparel. Charlotte’s wedding dress was amazing but all I got was a rehearsal picture of the two holding their SC marriage license. After the ceremony, everyone stormed on the playing field and I couldn’t get close, lol!

Kristin and Cole from Charlotte, North Carolina were united in marriage Today at the Port Royal Golf and Racquet Club on Hilton Head Island. Having traveled to the Island several times to prepare for their wedding, we spent significant
time with the Myers Briggs Personality Indicator and great discussions. With 60 family members and guests, their outside ceremony was inspiring with warm breezes, plenty of sunshine and a beautiful blue sky.

Christian and Ann chose to be united in marriage at Christian’s parent’s home in Bluffton. The couple are both MD’s, Christian is a radiologist, Ann is a psychiatrist. With 25-30 family members and friends joining them, their ceremony was held on the marsh in the back of Christian’s parent’s beautiful home this afternoon.

It’s been a busy but beautiful weekend of weddings. I’ve been working with Leslie and Evan for a few months as they are very committed to preparation and follow through with every detail. It’s been a pleasure helping them meet their ceremony and wedding goals.

From Cincinnati, Ohio Leslie and Evan with 150 family members, friends, colleagues and guests joined them to celebrate their love and public vows at the Port Royal Golf and Tennis Club on Hilton Head Island. The weather was perfect!

The electric was off, the road into the venue was absolutely terrible because of the remnants of Hurricane Helene but Kate and Zach’s wedding under the sprawling oak trees was beautiful, inspiring and touching for all of us.

I officiated the wedding ceremony for Dr. Will Pierce and Dr. Chandler Lee at a location I have never visited before, HollyOaks on the Marsh on the outskirts of Savanna, Georgia about 45 minutes away. The venue is beautiful! The couple from Nashville, Tennessee enjoyed over 300 family members, colleagues and friends at their wedding ceremony.
