Oregon Bride Magazine has started their Best of 2022 voting and I'd be honored if you would vote for Blomstra Floral Co. as Best Floral Designer.

Voting closes February 28 and the winners will be announced at a gala this summer. It's been a dream of mine since I started this business a couple years back to be featured!

This double triangle has quickly become one of my favorite arbors! I’ve used it in several weddings and each time it looks unique and different. For this couple, we used lots of vines and a few bright blooms!

Thankful Scott builds stuff when I ask for it 😂

There’s nothing dreamier than Swedish Midsommar festivals.
(I know it’s closer to Midwinter than Midsummer, but it’s cold and I’m thinking warm thoughts at the moment 😅)
This ENTIRE wedding was based around Midsommar. Everyone that wanted one had a flower crown and it was magnificent.
The old tradition says you wear a flower crown throughout the night and when you go to bed, put it under your pillow. Your true love will come to you in the next year!
If you already have a true love? 🤷🏼‍♀️ You got to wear a gorgeous crown for the whole evening and spend time celebrating the longest day of the year!

If you were a king/queen, what would your throne look like?
Pretty sure mind would be made of flowers all full of meaning - carefully selected for the job - and willow branches or something - but there would be a water source and it would keep growing and eventually it would be SUPER tall. Like so tall I’d have to keep making a taller ladder to get up there. Then I could parachute down to see all my subjects. 🪂

The colors in this wedding were beautiful and so unique. The bride and I talked for hours to come up with the perfect balance and story to tell using the language of flowers. Her colors went from white through light pinks and fuchsia and oranges into burgundies, almost like a zig zag of ombré.
I was so pleased with the final result. I got the full gallery last week and couldn’t decide where to start with posting, so stay tuned for more images from this colorful day!

Two years ago yesterday I got a brother! Taylor and Cory got married at the same church my parents got married in 32 years prior 😭
It was a beautiful day and you two have created a beautiful life!

I’m going to try a new type of post. It won’t be consistent, always sporadic. But will be fun!

Well, as you know by now if you’ve been following a while, each flower has a meaning - sometimes several meanings! I want you to use your intuition and see which flower/plant in this spread you feel pulled toward - let’s see what these flowers are trying to tell you! 💐

Hello!! I have an announcement.
As you probably know if you’ve been watching my stories, I am fully booked this year, but I have a few dates still next summer. ☀️

In 2022 there will be some changes to Blomstra - I’ve decided to cap myself at 25 events a year! (Why 25? It’s my favorite number and I felt like 24 was too predictable.) 😂

I love all weddings and every single client I’ve been privileged to work with - but I do feel like in order to give each client the very best experience, I should limit how many events I take on. 🦋 It also allows me time to write up your flower stories during the season, rather than waiting until winter to do so!
I also realized I left no time for activities with my family this summer - and though I love flowers, they’re my number one priority 🤍

So, with that said, I’m booking now for the rest of 2022! May and June are full, July and August have a couple openings each, and the rest of the year I have a decent amount of flexibility as of right now.
