It’s an Iris Wedding!!
It was my absolute pleasure working with these clients on their wedding! Planning this wedding in the heart of covid was a wild ride but we stuck it out till the end and the result was beautiful!

I teamed up with to create these lovely favour boxes for a bride of mine about a month ago! These favours were created for her guests that were attending her wedding virtually! Our boxes included a beautiful charcuterie plate, a piece of cake and a mini bottle of champagne to toast to the bride and groom! The beauty is in the details!

I thought for Iris’ first birthday I should share the story behind the name.
Many people have asked me if I named my company Iris because I have “ an eye “ for event management. While that’s definitely clever, that’s not the reason I chose my name
Iris was my paternal grandmother’s name. Though I never met her, I was always in awe of her. Growing up, I always wondered how she managed to keep 10 children in line, keep her household in tact and keep her head on straight. The amount of planning, executing, and problem solving must have been endless. She built and maintained a strong, successful household and I plan to do the same with my business, Iris Event Management.

I am so grateful for all the opportunities I’ve been afforded! Iris Event Management is officially one year old!
Since I was a little girl I’ve always dreamt of starting this company. I would sit and plan extravagant parties; drawing the stage, decorations, tables, venue ect. I would imagine the images dancing off the page and creating a whole new world. I literally dreamt of my current reality.
Choosing to officially start Iris Event Management wasn’t easy. For years people doubted me, laughed when I said I wanted to be an Event Coordinator/Planner, scoffed at me as I told them my plans, but I couldn’t waste all those years of dreaming! There have definitely been times that I’ve doubted myself and my vision along this journey but the universe had a plan for me, all I had to do was trust it! I believed in myself first ( with a little push from my friends ) and here you have it, Iris Event Management!
My baby is officially 1 ! ✨
