I had the fortune to visit Monet’s Gardens, located in Giverny, France, a few years ago, a personal Dream. The stunning gardens that inspired many of Claude Monet’s iconic impressionist paintings. The gardens are divided into two main areas: the flower garden (Clos Normand) and the water garden, both meticulously designed to create a living masterpiece. Monet carefully curated the flowers and plants, including arches of climbing roses, to complement the interplay of light and color, which he often captured in his art.
Roses are a standout feature in Monet’s Gardens, known for their romantic and timeless appeal. Climbing roses adorn trellises and pathways, adding height and fragrance to the space. Their lush blooms and variety of colors embody the essence of impressionism, making them a perfect fit for Monet’s vision of a harmonious, ever-changing garden.
