Very easy going and informative.
Very friendly, for all ages/abilities.
Little ideas that make a big difference.
Fabulous skills & wonderful ideas.
Very generous with knowledge/experience.

The Registrar will give you a Marriage Registration Form. This gives you permission to get married.

The surprise Wedding Ceremony

My office today, after a stressful start, the Seacloud docked in Ringaskiddy instead of Cobh and was only changed last night so had to go back to Ringaskiddy to get my couple, if I knew that beforehand I could have had the ceremony in my garden as I'm only 10mins from the ferry. Anyway it turned out fabulous, this was a surprise wedding blessing, organised by the brides work colleagues, they married legally on the ship yesterday by the captain, very emotional for the pair and tears were shed, but they loved all their surprises, we had a lovely vintage car, champagne, flowers, trad music and a ceremony in Fota House. A beautiful venue. Thanks to Brian and team for the warm welcome. My name is Maree O’Sullivan-Long and I’m an Independent Celebrant covering Cork, Limerick, Tipperary and Kerry.Being a florist for over 20 years, I love everything to do with weddings, along with other suppliers helping to make a couples dream day come true. Therefore it was a natural progression to become an accredited Celebrant. I love getting to know my couples and crafting a one off ceremony for them.

Personalise and fabulize your ceremony with an Irish Independent Wedding Celebrant.

Available for weddings, commitment ceremonies, vow renewals, naming ceremonies.

As an Independent Celebrant, I do not carry out the legal side of marriage, which can be done at the HSE office. This then leaves the couple free to plan the ceremony they truly want and the beauty of Independent Celebrant is “ we have no rules”. It’s your day so plan it your way.
