All that planning, and then suddenly you're here. The vows are done, the photos are finished. Now it's just you, your person, and everyone you love with nowhere else to be.

The reception is when you finally get to exhale. When the day stops being something you're orchestrating and becomes something you're living inside. The music's loud, your feet hurt, but you're still dancing. This is what you were planning for: not the details, but this feeling.

We film it so you can go back to that exact frequency whenever you want.

Somewhere between the last song and the drive home, you'll realize it's over. The best day you've ever had, already becoming memory. But here's the thing: we caught it. Every frame. So when you want to go back to that reception hall at midnight, when the lights were low and everyone you love was dancing, you can. That moment isn't gone. It's just waiting.

Hi! Kevin here. Haley and I really love weddings. We really love capturing authentic moments and putting together badass wedding films.

What we really don't love is social media. Between filming weddings, editing them, developing iPhone apps, parenting the two cutest kiddos, taking time for ourselves and each other, and fixing that damn leak in the attic, social media gets pushed towards the bottom of the list.

But this is me saying hey, we're gonna try harder and do better here. Hopefully you'll see more of us soon (I've already scheduled a post for later today)!

There's a certain magic in actual celluloid film. I think the imperfections remind us of a simpler time; no slow motion, no fancy camera moves. Don't get me wrong, those have their time and place, but the rawness of super 8 evokes a whole different set of emotions.

I love shooting on film; every second that I hold the trigger down, actual film is moving through the camera and being exposed, capturing the moment forever. No do-overs. No reviewing the shot in camera.

Being able to capture a couple's wedding day on physical media like film is just as magical for me as it is for them.
