Six of the happiest years of my life, after the wedding of my dreams, to the man I love most in the universe, on the hottest day of the year, feeling like a queen and surrounded by my whole world celebrating our love.

Yes, I really do think I’m the luckiest girl in history. I did then. I do now.

Dan’s first words to me, ever, when we first met were “You must be Phoebe.”

I think those are perfect words for the opening to a love story, like I’m in a book!

I know you'll forgive me for posting this one. Again. But it's one of the weddings I will always be obsessed with.

Not only because my bride and groom were so outrageously lovely. Or because they looked like movie stars (slash greek goddess vibes for Charlie). Or that they got married in one of my favourite venues in the world (hello Pynes House, I'm looking at you). Or that their flowers were not flowers but ART. Or that their food was from my favourite caterers. Or that these photographs capture the movement, the atmosphere, the actual feeling of beauty and love that surrounded this day.

But that this wedding was held just after lock down, when we could finally be together and celebrate love again. And it brings back such fond memories of remembering quite how much I love the sound of laughter, and glasses being clinked in congratulations and all the small, quiet, perfectly though out details that make weddings so beautiful, being brought to life by people enjoying them.

So, yes, a proper throwback to 2021, to one of my favourites.

Just one of Devon's simply perfect venues ~ if you are searching at the moment for your dream venue be sure to add them to your list of favourites and go and see the wonderful team to talk through your love story.

I think what they say sums up my feelings about the place: just a stone’s throw from Exeter, Brickhouse Vineyard sits amongst rolling hills, patchwork fields and miles of wild woodland that seems to stretch on forever. With their endless views, unspoilt backdrop and vines that have been harvested from scratch, their rural Devon wedding venue has the rare ability to allow you to escape, so that you feel like as though you are worlds away from anywhere. Just for the day, but you’ll find a day is all you’ll need.

You'll often find me coordinating or styling at this stunning venue and whole heartedly recommend them!

👗 Those gorgeous, intimate moments which you get to spend with your closest friends & family... bridesmaids, groomsmen, ushers, brothers, sisters, mothers & fathers as you get ready in the morning are, in my opinion, some of the moments of your wedding day which you will treasure the most. The anticipation, the getting ready, the hair & make up, the fizz, the nerves - don't let anyone miss out on being there by having them check the table set ups, that suppliers have turned up or that the venue is ready. I can do all of that for you, so that your morning is as glorious and chilled as Jess' was.

Rory was having a sea swim at this point in time with his groomsmen! 🧜‍♂️ Which is exactly how you should prepare for your church ceremony!

🧚‍♂️ Don’t ask me why I’m so rubbish and can go for a month without posting anything. I’ve been busy doing magical stuff! Like getting my s**t together for my first wedding of the year this weekend!!!

And holy bananas what a wedding it was! Hannah and Tom at the wonderful Deer Park for a fabulous weekend wedding extravaganza with some styling, bespoke planning and coordination from me ~ such a wonderful bunch and heaps of good times!

I did have to go and stuff a packet of crisps in my face mid afternoon and clocked I had a flat tire 🤦🏼‍♀️ which is one of the perils of our Devon roads and the eleventy billion pot holes, but as many of you will know, I love a bit of drama and I got a load of lovely people to help me out and pump it up enough so I could get home 🏡

… and so it begins! (WEDDING SEASON IS HERE 🎉🎊🙌)

Here is the gorgeous Alice & Tim. Their absolutely stunning Dartmoor marquee wedding was captured flawlessly by the lovely and looking through their images it was hard to pick the first to share!

⭐️ Review time! ⭐️

“Phoebe was our planner, co-ordinator and celebrant for our wedding and we would not have had the day we had without her! We were planning our Devon-based wedding from London so the planning process was mainly virtual rather than in-person, but Phoebe was always available through video calls, texts and emails and she understood our vision perfectly. Phoebe really does know the best suppliers and everyone she recommended was exactly what we were looking for.

When it came to the day itself, Phoebe's co-ordination kept everything running so smoothly. There was no stress for either of us in terms of time keeping or looking after guests, who were arriving from all-over at different times. Phoebe was on top of everything and we could just enjoy our amazing day!

Lastly, we could not recommend Phoebe more highly as a celebrant. She made our ceremony an absolute highlight of the day and so many guests complimented us on how beautiful it was.

All in all, Phoebe made the most special day of our lives as special as it could possibly be. Thank you so much for everything Phoebe!”

🐠 I pinch myself sometimes. That I have created this magical life where I get to hang out with people on the best day of their life. That I get to help pull together countless hours of day dreaming it, thinking about it, planning it, saving for it, paying for it, anticipating it. I never take it for granted. Every wedding I am involved with gets my full and undivided attention, love, calmness, skills, knowledge and infectious enthusiasm. I really AM as excited about your wedding as you are.

Weddings are my passion in life. They are fully my area of expertise, I can talk for hours about them and I could bore you pickles to death with all the ins and outs of everything! But guess what, when you are getting married I am exactly the person you need by your side!

And you know what else? My weddings? They're weird, wild, wonderful, sometimes surreal... and I am *here* for that. Looking back through these photos - well, it's like a dream. My perfect, dream job.
