I have been performing as a musician since 1999, playing in a variety of bands, and DJing since 2009. I am proficient in multiple genres of music, having been involved in many of aspects of music entertainment including live sound and music production. Our Story

John Cote has been performing as a musician since 1999, DJing since 2009, and started Spellbound DJ & Entertainment in 2013 with his then partner. When his partner moved out of state in 2017, he started his own DJ business. He has performed in a wide variety of musical acts; from oldies, to hard rock, and even hip-hop. He has been involved in many different aspects of music entertainment including live sound and music production. Since the early days when performing with shy lead singers, he has had no problem being the man on the mic, making announcements and getting the crowd going. With all of this experience, and a vast knowledge of many musical genres, it was an easy transition to DJ back in 2009. Though he never rests on his laurels. Always learning. Always practicing. Always striving for each event to be as fun and exciting as it should be.
