𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐭: No Lore is unlike any other indie alt-pop duo. It all starts when Manila-based visual artist Tita Halaman decides to make music out of her paintings and poetry with her brother Jerald. As an artist, she wants to elevate her audience’s experience by expounding the message of her paintings through the art of words and sound. No Lore’s goal is to continuously release a new song with a painting every month and to publish a book out of it.

The band name “No Lore” comes from the concept of having no formal studies in visual art, music, and poetry. Both Tita Halaman and Jerald are self-taught and everything is D.I.Y. from ideation to audio and video production. "No Lore” is also derived from “No Folklore” which means "Don’t just dream or tell it, make it happen”.

Their song "Paumanhin" translated in English means "sorry" or "apologies". "Paumanhin" is a love song about missing a person whom you lost but has since decided to just keep and treasure all the moments shared and being unapologetic for holding on to such. A song about crazy loyalty, it's about one's love that never fades because you simply decide to feel that way, unapologetically. A song for those who do not want to forget nor move on; for those who are saying "sorry" to their ex-lover because he/she/they simply refuse to let go despite being told to do so.

Referring to its physical art form (the painting and the single artwork), "Paumanhin" captures the chaos and/or beauty of where loyalty can take you; division and damaging of relationships and/or bringing together of people.
