You know your flowers are doing their job when they look just as damn good in black and white as they do in full color.

That’s the ultimate test...when the tones, textures, and shapes STILLLLLL tell the story even without the color.

And if anyone’s going to capture that kind of beauty, it’s Amber.

and I have done a TON of weddings together this year, and every single one is magic.

She knows how to find the emotion in the details of my work, and without her, I wouldn’t be able to strut my stuff!!!

There’s nothing better than having a photographer who also sees flowers as art worth remembering.

Every bouquet, every installation, every teary first look surrounded by flowers we’ve designed…it’s a freaking honor I’ll never take lightly.

You already know I’m obsessed with a pocket square boutonniere.

And Zack? He freaking ROCKED it.

If you’re new here, let me explain...

A pocket square boutonniere is my signature move: instead of pinning a sad little stem to your lapel, I build a floral moment that tucks right into your pocket.

It’s secure, sculptural, and freaking photogenic.

Zack’s was layered with soft orchids, ruffled lisianthus, and a hit of greenery for contrast.

Clean, modern, and bold enough to hold its own next to Susannah’s bouquet.

Because the groom deserves florals that actually show up in the photos too.

No floppy pins, no falling petals, just flowers that look as sharp as the suit they’re in.

I strive to bring creativity and precision in equal measure. The “wow factor” isn’t luck, it’s design with intention.

I pride myself on being responsive, reliable, and freaking FUN AF to work with, because the planning process should feel exciting, not stressful. That only happens when your ENTIRE vendor team is in sync.

We’ve done a lot of weddings at Greenville Country Club this year...and I mean a LOT.

Don’t get me wrong. I’ll never freaking get tired of this place.

But the best part? Not a single one looked (or felt) the same.

That’s the fun of it! Flexing those creative muscles to make sure every couple’s day feels like them.

Take Shannon + Mitch.

Their palette was rooted in JOY: bright, unapologetic, and full of life.

It had a freaking garden party meets golden hour glow...

Coral peonies.
Buttery yellows.
Hot pink ranunculus.

And sooo much of that wild, airy movement that keeps everything feeling unbuttoned.

For me, it felt like sunshine bottled up in bouquet form, the kind of color story that makes people smile before they even realize why.

Because at the end of the day, the venue might stay the same…
but the vibe is ALWAYS determined by the couple.

Florals are about more than filling space.

They’re about complementing the story that’s unfolding in front of them.

This bridesmaid, a glowing mama-to-be, was a glowing GODDESS.

That fuchsia dress, the golden light, the joy written all over her face???

Her bouquet echoed that same energy: soft, powerful, unapologetically feminine.

Peonies.
Snapdragons.
Lisianthus.
Touches of rose.

This blend that bloomed right alongside her.

My job isn’t just to make things pretty. Ugh, if I’m ever reduced to that, I’m hanging it up, I swear!!!

I can make the flowers damn beautiful, but it’s the photographers who make them last forever.

They’re the reason every petal, every color blend, every little moment of movement gets to live on long after the reception lights fade.

No one’s framing a photo of my cooler full of stems. It’s their artistry that turns all this design into legacy.

Huge love to Emily () for capturing Susannah + Zack’s day so freaking perfectly, from the soft light to the real, heart-melting moments.

Soft on the eyes, but rich enough to make you stop and stare.

For Susannah and Jack, I built everything around contrast and balance:

Buttery roses layered against crisp white orchids.

Rruffled lisianthus tucked beside bronzed cappuccino tones.

Clouds of delicate stock for that airy lift.

It’s modern without feeling sterile. Romantic without feeling too sweet.

A color story that glows under sunlight and candlelight, the perfect mix of polished and playful.

Perfect for the turn of the season in Philadelphia.

When a client says, “You made it even better than I imagined”? That’s the goal.

Every. Damn. Time.

I love when couples come to me with a vision, whether it’s color, texture, or a full Pinterest board.

My job isn’t just to recreate it.

It’s to elevate it.

To pull in creative touches, unexpected details, and those little design choices that make it feel completely, unmistakably you.

That’s why my proposals are never copy-paste.

I map out everything...

The flowers.
The vessels.
The candles.
The mood.

So you can see how it all comes together before I even start wiring a stem.

You deserve art that tells your story.

Ready for this one?

IT’S A FREAKING BABY’S BREATH ARCH!!!!!

Normally we’re out in the gardens at Greenville…but this time, I brought the garden inside.

Soft, sculptural, and effing MASSIVE to pack a punch and make sure you didn’t take your eyes off Lauren and Isai.

Thousands of stems wired together to create something that felt like a cloud...light enough to float, lush enough to frame every emotion in that ceremony.

We transformed a tent into a DREAMSCAPE, turning an indoor ceremony into a story that still smelled like the garden outside.

Because when the weather changes, the magic doesn’t have to.

We just reimagine it.

When I say I love what I do, I mean it.

But hearing this kind of feedback? It’s the reason I keep chasing the next great love story to flower.

Not every couple comes to me with a fully formed vision.

Most just have what the kids call a “vibe.”

A color, a feeling, a “we want it to feel like us.”

That’s where I come the hell ALIVE. Translating the unspoken stuff into something you can see, touch, and smell.

I’m equal parts designer AND freaking detective, pulling threads of personality, emotion, and story until we land on something that feels exactly right.

Because your florals shouldn’t just look stunning (though, let’s be real, they will).

When you ask your florist to make it feel like YOU, it effin’ should.

Harper showed up looked AH-DORABLEEEEE, and reminded everyone what unconditional love actually looks like.

Damn right the dog got a floral moment!!!!

I’ll say it EVERY time: the BEST weddings are the ones that feel personal.

Bring your pup, your grandma, your chaos…I’ll freaking flower them all. (Yes, we can in fact flower grandma. Ask me how!!!)

Steele Orchid

I have a passion for flowers and creating designs that have a WOW factor. My love for flowers came from my mother who was a horticulturalist and designed gardens and floral arrangements. She won many awards, often the top ones, at the Philadelphia Flower Show. Although I do not have formal training like my mentor, it’s in my blood!

As much as possible, I use locally sourced flowers, oftentimes from my own garden! My moto, when it comes to arranging, is that more is more - the more flowers used, the better and the bigger the arrangement, the better. Steele Orchid uses color, texture and design combinations that are typically totally unexpected.

Steele Orchid designs custom bouquets for proms and weddings, and flower arrangements for showers, parties, and other events.
