Reverend Louise Landeta and her husband Carlos Landeta are the two celebrants who founded Baja Wedding Officiants in the summer of 2014, and have since presided over 200 weddings.
Louise has a Masters in Theology from the Franciscan School of Theology at the Graduate Theological Union, Berkeley, CA. Her career has encompassed a variety of positions in pastoral ministry, spiritual direction and chaplaincy. She is a Board Certified Chaplain and served a year of residency in Clinical Pastoral Education at Sutter Medical Center, Sacramento, California, thereafter serving in hospitals and hospices.
They made their home in Rosarito, Baja California, Mexico several years ago. Along the way, many friends asked them to officiate their weddings, and someone suggested they ought to provide this service for others. So Carlos and Louise applied for their officiant credentials. Thus Rosarito Baja Weddings and Rosarito Coastal Weddings were born
Since Carlos is bilingual, they are able to provide bilingual ceremonies along with English and Spanish. They are well known by now in the Baja area encompassing Tijuana, Rosarito, Ensenada and the Valle de Guadalupe. Thus, they receive referrals for weddings from a wide variety of venues, as well as through former clients, and those who find them on our web site and page. They are very appreciative of the confidence shown in them by repeated calls from The Rosarito Beach Hotel, Castillos Del Mar, Las Rocas Hotel, Puerto Nuevo Grand Hotel, L.C. Organieventos.
