Hailing from Oakland, California has secured her place as a powerhouse in the underground bass music scene by working behind the curtain as the creator of CouchFam and Bay Area Bass Scene. An avid underground music collector and aficionado, khariszma amassed a notable Soundcloud following long before touching a mixer because of her meticulously curated playlists showcasing the deep, dark, soulful sounds of drum and bass and jungle, as well as dubstep, 140 and other UK-originated genres.

Now, khariszma has stepped out from behind the curtain and moved behind the decks, turning those playlists into thoughtful journey sets brimming with contagious energy, emotion and intention. The deep love for the music she plays shines brightly in her live performances and her soulful sounds paired with heavy bass lines have earned her residencies with iconic drum and bass weekly Stamina Sundays in San Francisco and renowned junglist crew Konkrete Jungle Mile High in Denver, as well as lineup slots alongside legends such as Halogenix, Chase & Status, Bou, Joe Nice, N-Type, Hamdi, Bou, Degs, J:Kenzo, The Widdler, Ternion Sound, Pushloop, Enigma Dubz, Distinct Motive, Minnesota, Maddy O’Neal, Sam Binga and Ivy Lab. She also is a member of all-femme bass music collective Kyra Collective.

Khariszma has also received recognition from UK dnb heavyweight Halogenix, who discovered her through Instagram and asked her to be his first guest on his newly minted GeminiGemini radio show on KoolFM in 2023.

When she’s not playing shows, find her on Twitch where she streams the best of the underground bass music her weekly Sunday afternoon liquid dnb show, and occasionally on Saturdays from 7-9pm Pacific on the CouchFam Twitch channel for Heavy Traffic’s Sub.FM radio show- the longest running North American bass music radio show that’s still going strong after 15 years.

- growing up in omaha nebraska’s hardcore/metal scene, up and coming producer, dubreaper, has always liked the darker, heavier style of music. his passion for creating music began when he was in a metalcore band at 16. in the summer of 2009 he fell down the rabbit hole on youtube after finding artists coki, mala and the dmz crew and has been obsessed with the old school sounds of dubstep ever since. he started producing dubstep in 2018 and quickly found his sound inspired by that original style. dubreaper has traveled up and down the west coast playing shows for cymatics bass, sacred seshes, babs, proper vibes and more. he has releases on labels like deep fried records, future follower records, keepdeep, frozen plates, background noise, cymatics bass, and blc. there’s a lot more to come from this california based artist

With Mini Mix Mondays (Group 1 - Bass Music) coming to a close, I want to take a quick moment to reflect and show my appreciation and gratitude on the growth of Sonic Convergence and all of the artists involved with the vision behind this moment. The mission behind Sonic Convergence always has been and always will be “Connecting People Through Sound & Experiences” and the focus of our efforts will always be on how to help artists reach an audience that will love their music. Without the trust and hard work of all of the artists involved, we couldn’t do this. So THANK YOU to everyone involved in MMM. Through this last group, we’ve been listened to in over 50 countries more with more the. 16k plays and we only have 500 followers in 3 months of doing this. I think those numbers speak volumes and am honored to begin helping make a global community.

Mini Minx Mondays Episode 8 ft is live!

Originally from the Santa Cruz mountains, Meeshroom is an electronic music producer and DJ now based in Lake Tahoe. Meesh’s sets range from experimental bass to drum and bass to 140 deep dub and more. Her sound is influenced by her love for witchcraft, fantasy and horror movies. She draws inspiration from her experiences seeing performances from artists such as Rezz and Khiva. Her vision is to channel profound and heartfelt moments by creating an ethereal space of dark and light with sound.

Meeshroom’s most notable work to date are her “därk psilø” mixes that have surpassed 15K streams altogether on Soundcloud. She is currently working on her first EP that will be released in 2024.

She has showcased her DJ sets at festivals such as Gem & Jam, Burning Man, The Untz and Starvibes Campout. Meeshroom has shared the stage with artists such as Troyboi, Mr. Carmack, Chef Boyarbeatz, A Hundred Drums, Subdocta, Secret Recipe, Milano, Jon Casey, Mythm, Beat Kitty, Murkury, Labrat, Kowta and SUDS

Kryptt first got into electronic music for the love of the community and people it represents. As a bay area native he experienced firsthand the explosion and evolution of west coast bass as it broke into the culture. Now, he produces a meticulously well-crafted take on the very same genre. Packed with overwhelmingly thick and gritty textures, excitinggrooves, and some seriously devastating basslines, it’s no surprise that Kryptt’s sounds has been taking the underground by storm.

Can’t believe Out of office w/ Noer the Boy, Low Poly, KRYPTT & Meeshroom l is already tomorrow! it came so fast (that’s what she said)

When we first started booking the headliner for this event, we had it a different artist in mind from Canada but last minute it didn’t work out so we had to pivot quickly. Noer was the obvious answer for a GOOD DARK Halloween bass vibe.

Funny story, Noah and I have worked together at the very start of Sonic Convergence’s humble beginnings and he is a core component of why I started this journey.

During Covid, we couldn’t do live events. My partner at the time and I had indifferences about how we should operate the company we started together. He wanted to do illegal/unsafe underground events, and I didn’t. My sister has down syndrome, and if I were to bring Covid to her, she would at least be hospitalized, which was not an option.

So instead, I figured out a solution to do live events on stage with no crowd and stream them. I booked, marketed and operated these shows myself. With the help of my good friends at Olympus Presents, Wormhole Entertainment, Electric Hawk and Wtf’s That Sound, and DiemT Visuals we made something very special! Something that connected everybody together through Music, without actually being physically together

Hence the birth of Sonic Convergence 🖤
