This is why you periodically test your cables, and not just with a generic cable tester that checks for continuity. This recording was of a microphone cable that looked fine, passed a "cable tester", but its shielding was compromised and it turned into a radio antenna. (Image not of cable in question, but used for dramatic effect.... be afraid)
