Garden of Earthly Delights I’m interested in what women’s history and what they wore, and why they wore it, so I create uni They have been repainted using artists acrylic paints.

My fashion dolls are unique, in that I don’t do production runs of any design. I might make one of my original designs three or four times to perfect the pattern, but it’s unlikely I’d sell more than one of them. Many of them are free hand designs, in that they are made on the doll, for that particular doll. I use new and recycled and vintage fabric, mostly in silk, but sometimes in wool or cotton

because I prefer to work with natural fibres. All outfits are lined where appropriate and are fully removable. They will have other garments going on underneath where necessary, like knickers or petticoats. If they are historical dresses they are as accurate as possible at this scale. I’m interested in what women’s history and what they wore, and why they wore it. Film costumes are different, but each OOAK will have a full description of the outfit and doll. If they catch your fancy please do drop by and have a look. As I have already had a couple of enquiries about sales I can’t guarantee that the dolls in this add will still be available, but I do have to let quite a lot of these dolls go – I’ve simply run out of room.

OOAK fashion IT doll Agnes 'Up with a Twist' (my repaint), which has won an Industry Award from DOLLS Magazine. Pretty chuffed about that. I think I'll have to remake her small head ornament, those feathers (Galah feathers I found) are the wrong colour pink for this outfit. Silk and freshwater pearls, Galah feathers. Freshwater pearl jewellery with gold plated findings.
Inspired by Cara Delevigne’s red dress at the Oscars for 2023.

'Waterfall' OOAK silk dress on Integrity Toys doll Kyori Sato 'Karma' (2018). Industry Choice Award from DOLLS Magazine for fashion design, my repaint. Inspired by a trip to the American Visionary Art Museum (AVAM) in 2019 where I saw some fantastic coloured pencil pencil paintings by the Aussie artist Peter Eglington. The feathers are Toucan feathers I found outside a pet shop in Canberra years ago.
