We can’t wait for the Cosplay Masquerades at Dublin and London in January! Applications for both shows close towards the end of the month, so if you’re still thinking about entering, here are some reasons we recommend you give it a shot!

What are your plans this October 19th & 20th?
We will be at Gamefest Ireland all weekend running our first ever COSPLAY SWAP MEET.

Promoting recycling and reusing your cosplays and accessories, bring along your old cosplay items and trade them with others. Let's work together to reduce our carbon footprint and bring life back into our old unused outfits.

Remember we are also running a cosplay competition each day of the event. Stay tuned to for details.

Day two at is complete, which wraps up our weekend in Farnborough!

We had a great ‘crafternoon’ today, demonstrating everything from pattern drafting to wig ventilating, leatherworking to handsewing techniques! Thank you to today’s cosplay speakers, , .design and , hosted by 💚

We were also lucky enough to be visited by who brought the beautiful Lightning McQueen to visit us - so named because of how fast he is! Swipe to the end to see Lightning and Lightning 🦅🦉⚡️

Our Irish Director Graham and Coordinator Jess are at NEXUS Games Conference today finding out about the Irish Games Industry and what is in store for 2025.

Remember takes place October 19th & 20th. Tickets are available and we will be there running a cosplay competition each day. Come and find us in the cosplay zone.

We had so much fun wrapping the 2024 season of shows in July at MegaCon Live Manchester! A wrap up post felt fitting to close out the MegaCon Live season and you can read all about the Manchester 2024 winners via the link in our bio.

As always, we were blown away by the talent on display at MegaCon Live! 2024 was the first year of the new format where we introduced experience classes to the UK convention scene.

⚙️ Our Artificer Class (Best in Show and Runner Up) features cosplayers who have made 80% or more of their cosplay and are often folks who have more experience in cosplay crafting, competing or both.

🧭 Our Adventurer Class (Best Adventurer) features cosplayers who have made 50% or more of their cosplay and it's a great class to enter for newer competitors or crafters who are starting out in the competitive cosplay journey.

🎸 Our Bard Class (Best Bard) features performance driven cosplayers who have thrifted, commissioned or bought their cosplays. This class is scored 100% on performance by a special panel of performance judges.

🎉 Congratulations once more to our winners at MegaCon Live Manchester, and thank you to everyone who entered!

We're very excited for what 2025 will bring, and can't wait to see the MegaCon Live cosplayers next year! Don't forget the Guild still has a handful of non-MegaCon events left this fall that we hope to see you at!

We are down at the UCFF Comic Con today in the Royal Marine Hotel Dun Laoghire. Free entry and on till 5. Come on down and say hi to us. A great event and lots of exciting things to do.

Our Irish Guild meet ups are back in action!!

Come along and hang out with us 2pm Saturday August 10th at Blanchardstown Leisure Plex Dublin for a day of bowling, pool, arcade machines and food.

Cosplay not necessary but a great opportunity to snap some fun pics. No prop weapons or large parts as this is a public/private space and you may be asked to leave.

All are welcome so bring along your friends and family.

Thank you to all of our entrants, winners, craftsmanship judges, and performance judges who joined us for our Sunday masquerade at yesterday! A huge congratulations to our last round of MegaCon Live winners for 2024, and a massive thank you to our UK lead , who celebrated her last show with the Guild on stage with all of you 💚

Link in bio! We've had a few spots open up for the Artificer class at the Masquerade this weekend. Sign up ASAP to secure a spot.

The wait-list for Bard and Adventurers remain open until 12pm on the 25th of July. On-the-day spots may become available due to drop outs and no shows. On the Day spots will only be open to those on the wait-list, so join the wait-list to be eligible for the limited on the day spots.

⚙️ Artificer applications will be processed as they come in!
