We went to visit my Dad today and he enjoyed spending time with his Great Granddaughter, Aurora, my beautiful Granddaughter. As you can see, they got on like a house on fire, he was playing her his old reggae tunes and she was dancing around loving it. ❤️

A little trip down memory lane! Here is a photo of Ben E King performing at the Four Aces, see second pic for the original contract to book him for the night. My Mum went to the Four Aces for the first time that night, purely to see him perform live as she was a huge fan, she’d never have gone there otherwise. My Dad, invited her into his office for a drink and to meet the man himself and the rest was history. I suppose I have to thank Ben E King for my existence as for as far as I’m told, my Mum and Dad were inseparable from that night on! 😂

Please show some love for Newtons Grandaughter, Mummy of the gorgeous Aurora! she’s just started a small business selling crystal candy, their origin is from Japan and their name is Kohakutou, it’s highly popular at the moment and there are only a handful of people in the UK that sell it. Her instagram is and the Etsy shop link is in the bio.

Please show some love to aurasweets , this is a new business created by Newtons Grandaughter, the mummy of the beautiful Aurora!
She is one of around 2 other people that sell these Japanese candies. Usually in order to get them you have to get them shipped from abroad which costs a fortune. They are delicious and the flavours are amazing and plentiful. The official name for these candies are kohakutou and they are very crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. They are extremely popular at the moment and are in high demand. The link to the Etsy shop is in her Insta bio. I hope you guys try it out, you won’t be disappointed ! 💕

Another great picture and memory given to me by of the great Count Shelly sound, total legends, my mum used to tell me all about Count Shelly from when she used to help out behind the bar and make sandwiches before I was born, sounds like there where some brilliant characters that used to go to the club those days because I was a child and I was fascinated with the tales she’d tell me about the people, the music and the vibe. ❤️♣️♦️♠️

Look at this old flyer back from 1973! The year I was born, I consider from what I’ve been told, one of the greatest eras of the club, the sounds that played and the live performances on stage. A big thank you to for sharing this with me, he is the first to come forward and I’m extremely grateful, I know there’s more, don’t be shy! Video clips of your memories or write it down and send it to me. This type of thing will make the page grow from strength to strength, it’s a page that belongs to us all, keeping the club alive is the aim. ❤️♣️♦️♠️

So this happened today, my daughters friend was on his way home from work, he’s 20 years old, this person decided to assault him for no other reason than she could, he’s a young black male and she took advantage of the fact that she could do it and he couldn’t do a thing about it. He managed to get a small video clip of her face, clear enough for anyone who may know her would recognise her. She ended up cornering him and punching him and he’s in the hospital getting checked out and more so for the record. This can’t be allowed and I urge anyone to share this please as it’s a disgrace! He had never ever seen this woman on his life and she looks as though she is a woman trailing home from work also. People like this get away with this type of thing everyday and then scream assault or r**e of confronted and are mostly believed. This was a racially aggravated assault and I for one am disgusted. Lets name and shame please! Thanks I’m advance. X

Today is a very sad day for me. It’s one year ago today that I lost my wonderful mother. I don’t even know how I’ve managed to get here without her. Nothing will ever be the same again. 🥀🕊🥀

Florence made me extremely proud at her school concert last week. She’s only 13 and she taught herself how to play this piece, those who know this piece of music will notice that it was cut short due to the school requirements.
