Welcome! My name is Jasmine I am the owner and operator of JR's A Helping Hand!

I specialize in social relations psychology, communications, and wedding planning! I hold a bachelors degree in psychology, I am currently earning my masters degree in communications, and am on my way to becoming a certified wedding planner. It is the hope of my organization to help those in the surrounding areas of the Columbia Gorge that maybe cannot afford to go to regular counseling and to be able to help anyone and everyone that is in need of my specific services whether it involves psychology, communications, or wedding plans I am always here to lend a helping hand.

I AM NOT A LICENSED PSYCHOLOGIST! Although I hold a bachelors degree in psychology I am again not a licensed psychologist so all advice and help given are merely my own personal opinions and thoughts. At this point in time the services that I offer are simple, I merely offer advice, training, understanding, and friendship to those who may not have anyone else. I am comfortable working with a single person, or a family/group for whatever they need in regards to social relations, relating better to one another, and working together more efficiently.

My wedding planning services are also always available to those who are interested. I became involved in wedding planning when my younger sister got engaged, from there I began planning my own wedding, and sense then I have helped plan three separate weddings. This is something I truly enjoy doing and something that I am very passionate about because everyone has a vision and I love being able to help make that vision a reality (especially when it is one of the most important days of your life), so let's have some fun, throw around some ideas, and make your dreams come true!

I do not currently have an office space so my services are delivered by email or meeting wherever I am needed. When I do open my office which should be within the next year I will update the site to keep you all informed. Good afternoon my dears! Ever feel like no matter what you do you can't win? Everyone feels that way at multiple times throughout their lives. Sometimes all it takes to lift your spirits is one great song. This is a song I came across today while browsing my personal facebook. I found a very strong feeling of love and understanding behind this song and after listening to it one time I feel a lot better than I did before. I'm not saying it's going to fix your problems but the power of music is one of the strongest forces I have come across and I truly believe it can help not just one person but many. Hello my dears! I know it's been a while sense I have posted and I apologize for that. I recently came across a saying that I had forgot about by the one and only Tyler Perry AKA Madea. He said "if folks want to leave your life, let them go. You will have all sorts of people come into your life, some are like leaves on a tree they are only there for a season, others are like branches and you have to be careful with those ones cause they'll trick you, and finally you have people that are like the roots of that tree THOSE are the people you want to keep and hold on to." What I'm trying to say my friends is don't force someone to stay in your life. If they want to go, Let. Them. Go.

Have negative people in your life? Honey whether it's friends, family, or strangers there is always going to be that one person that makes your blood boil. The best thing for you to do (especially if they are family) is take a deep breath (or a couple depending on the level of boil), remind yourself that you are awesome, shoot em a f**k you smile and continue being you and doing your thing cause all that matters is that you are in control of your own life.

Don't get me wrong I have done some messed up things in my life but every mistake I make I own up to. If you can look at yourself in the mirror at night knowing that you made someone's day, learned something new, or even just made someone smile it is not a day wasted.

Truth my friends, whether people are angry at you for telling to truth or not you find out who the people are that really care for you, stick with them, and the truth my friends as the great John 8:32 would say "the truth will set you free"!

Hello all! I know it has been a while sense I have posted on my page but things have been really hectic within my family. My father has been in the hospital due to having an irregular heart beat and congestive heart failure so I have been spending time taking care of bills and the house for them while they are away. Recently I have been learning a lot about the context of things and have realized that there are many times that things are taken out of context especially when relayed by someone who in not a part of the situation.
