Hello friends! I hope you’re all doing well, and that you’ve had a great year so far! I am coming to you today with some mixed emotions, and an announcement. I am stepping back from photography - for now at least. While I love taking your photos, my number one (and favorite) job is being a mom to our three kids. Three kids that are busy, and active, and cannot drive themselves anywhere 😉. Right now my family needs me, and this time with my kids at home is fleeting - each day they grow up a little bit more need me a little bit less, and I want to savor this season of life.
I have *loved* taking your photos and being a part of so many special times in your lives. As I’ve been reflecting while making this decision, it really dawned on my how many big moments I’ve been a part of - new babies, new relationships, new homes, pregnancy announcements and gender reveals, surprise proposals, engagements, marriages, so many family photos, extended family that sees each other rarely, saying goodbye to high school, saying goodbye to college, saying goodbye to a beloved family member. So much life has happened in front of my camera lens, and I am *forever* grateful to have been a part of something so special. Having the privilege of creating art out of one of your moments in time is incredible. I have laughed, cried, cheered, mourned, and loved with you all. Thank you for trusting me with your memories over the years.
