Lucy and Jack's Ring Exchange during their Wedding Ceremony at last year.

They chose to personalise this element of their ceremony by having an owl ring bearer - named Juliette who was their best man Joe's 'little helper!'
🦉
The guests especially the children were entranced by Juliette's swooping arrival into the Library when she flew onto Lucy's gloved hand.
🦉
Then wouldn't leave! Everyone were happy to watch and she finally returned to her handler Duncan.
🦉
Now it really was time for the rings to be exchanged and the promises to be given - such a magical occasion for the happy couple and their family and friends ✨✨

Merry Christmas to you, one and all!

I shall be out be of office until Monday 6th January. Having said that the inbox will be open for enquiries and I shall be working in the background with couples and families who have ceremonies next month.

It's been another busy year - it's such a joy to get to know, to create and be a part of my couples unique and wonderful wedding ceremonies - those from this year and those getting set for 2025 and 2026!

It started as teenage love for James and Amy which grew and grew.
💚
James and Amy wanted a bespoke wedding ceremony and that's what we created together. It was a total pleasure to officiate this ceremony! Amy's dress was so beautiful and James looked amazing with his headdress on.

Buckminster Barn suited these two down to the ground - literally! What a beautiful venue - the Leicestershire countryside scenes were to die for! 🌳🌳🌳

Family were central to this unique ceremony: both the bride and the groom had a sibling read a speech for them.
💚
Their beautiful dog was also part of the wedding party - a total character!
💚
James and Amy chose to write their own vows and the tears... lots of happy tears and did I mention the kisses. It was really great to be part of such an emotion-filled ceremony.

This couple are so in love and as one of their siblings said; ' they have got all of the foundations for a long and happy marriage'. Sending my bestest wishes for their future life together.🌳🌻🌳

Today is the very first Funeral Celebrant Day. It's been instigated by and .

Funeral Celebrants like myself support and guide families in creating a personalised service for their loved ones. We spend time face-to--face, on Zoom, on WhatsApp and via email working to ensure that the service reflects the person's life and ideals as well as giving family and friends the chance to have time to reflect on their memories and say goodbye in a safe and relaxed space, whether at a burial, in a crematorium or maybe another place such as a village hall.

You can choose your own Celebrant when you meet up with the Funeral Director and you can find me via my Facebook, Insta, my website or directly by phone.

It may be that you are nearing the end of your life and would like to plan your goodbye. I would be privileged to organise that alongside you; giving you the opportunity to prepare your own funeral service.
