Starting off the 2025 season with so much excitement!

Last year, I took a leap and went through a full rebrand – it was a little scary, but also incredibly exciting. I wanted my personality to truly shine through and, most importantly, capture the fun, vibrant energy of weddings that I absolutely love planning. That meant connecting with couples who shared that vision for their big day.

How are we already almost half way through December?

I don’t know if it’s because Thanksgiving was later this year, but I’m having a hard time believing that we are this close to the next holiday!

It feels like 2024 is quickly wrapping up which is always exciting to go into a new year, but a little bittersweet for me because this year was one of my favorites. Between work and personal life, I had one of my best years and it feels sad it’s almost over. But also really looking forward to what is coming next!

Yes, I did go through a FULL rebrand back in July...which I am of course still so totally in love with. But during the busy season, I got behind on updating to new photos and writing blogs. So during this time, I am working diligently on getting all my ‘24 weddings on the blog.

It’s so crazy to think that Thanksgiving is right around the corner!

This year we will be hosting my husbands side of the family at our house early next week and then heading to my sister’s for our family on Thursday.

I do love this time of year, mostly cause I get a little time off with Blake and also get to spend more time with our nieces and nephews. So I am excited for the upcoming holiday season.

This is the kind of excitement that I wish for all my couples on their wedding day.

I tell all of my potential clients the same thing on our consults, I never want you to feel like you are working on your wedding day. It should be the most stress free, enjoyable day you can possibly have.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I remember when I got married (many years ago haha) and I didn’t hire a planner. I thought, I do this for a living, I can handle it. I truly regretted it the day of. I got to the venue and started to set decor in full hair + makeup. Finally my best friend made me go relax. But throughout the night, I kept noticing things that would have never happened had I just hired someone.

That’s never an experience I believe any couple should have! It’s why I honestly believe having a planner/coordinator is more of a necessity than a luxury. Managing timelines, set-up, vendors, etc is truly never something that someone getting married should have to worry about!!

Keeping up with social media as a business owner can feel pretty daunting at times. And towards the beginning of last month, I really took a step back.

I was wrapping up my wedding season and had a few trips sprinkled in there and social media just fell to the back burner. I’ve honestly had a hard time getting back into it.

And then with the overwhelming feeling of emotions this week, starting to dip my toes back in it feels a bit odd.

But then I have to remember why I started this business + why I do it. To celebrate love. ALL love. And to share these love stories that I get to play a role in is pretty amazing. So while I may not post every single day, it is nice to start getting back into it and sharing all my couples happiness!!

“Meet me at midnight…” I’ve had this styled shoot working in my brain since early this year and I am so incredibly thrilled with the way it turned out. Putting all my ideas on paper and then actually crafting and creating them was a lot more work that I initially planned, but I honestly couldn’t be happier with the end result. While I was working through the crafts, burning myself on hot glue, getting frustrated with anything that looked out of line/not totally level, I had a team of vendors on this shoot that perfectly took my vision and ran with it. And I can truly say that none of this Midnights idea would have been possible with out them. This shoot made my Swiftie heart so full and I cannot wait to post more from the day.
