Last DISC JOCKER of the year! Efa O'Neill all night long in Record Room!

A Kerry native, Efa O' Neill is a lynchpin of cutting edge dance music on the island. Spanning a wide spectrum, a typical O' Neill set might encompass house jackers, techno rumblers, electro wobblers and drum'n'bass rollers with a firm emphasis on creating dancefloor magic.
The last few years has seen O' Neill elevated to a high status as a firm club and festival favourite, playing on bills with luminaries such as Sync24, Or:La, Avalon Emerson, LSDXOXO, Charlie Bones and more! She is a mainstay on Dublin Digital Radio with her long-running 'Out of Space' show and has appeared on NTS, Rinse FM, Balaamil, Red Light Radio as well as Boiler Room & HØR Berlin.
And let's not forget her recent foray into production and live performance in The Outside, an acclaimed partnership with the legendary David Kitt.
It's fair to say that O' Neill has somehow managed to be a risk taker and a crowd pleaser, keeping the trainspotters guessing with obscure cuts and deft mixing while her choice selections ensure the casual fan is a sweaty mess of big smiles and dancing fervour.

It's with much excitement we can finally share with you something very special we have been working on for St. Patrick's Day this year. ☘️ For the first time ever we will invite Saoirse, one of Ireland's most globally respected DJs to the controls at the Index to launch her new Irish party 'Abhaile'. Saoirse is one of the brains behind Body Movements, a festival which celebrates q***r bodies in electronic music as well as trUst; her event series and recently launched label. Regularly sharing line ups with the likes of Roza Terenzi, Peach, Shanti Celeste and Ben UFO, Saoirse is a DJ known for her pacey and hypnotic sound.

Across the rest of the venue we have worked together with Saoirse to curate a line up of some of our favourite selectors on the Emerald Isle. On support in the main room we are joined by Cáit of Berlin's acclaimed Radiant Love party alongside her brother and talented producer Fio Fa of the Pear party and label. In Room 2 we welcome Efa O'Neill who runs the beloved Out of Space party in Cork and Nevan Jio of AllCity RecordStore and Pear. Rest assured, you are in very capable hands.

We are thrilled to be able to put on this party showcasing artists that make us proud of our home. This is definitely going to be one to remember. Hope you can make it! 👊

Dj and Founder of the radio show and event series Out of Space - Efa O'Neill has been pushing a plethora of wavey and unconventional sounds into the stratosphere thanks to her explorative ear for futuristic electronica, experimental, uk and bass driven sounds.

Her unique trajectory has seen her support the likes of Machine woman, Lsdxoxo and Avalon Emerson with bookings as far flung as Pikes, Ibiza and East London’s Pickle Factory. With guest appearances on NTS Radio, Balamii Radio, Rinse FM, Red Light Radio and in recent times her Boiler Room debut.

Never one to follow the rules and true to her craft, her track selections are a kind of organised chaos showcasing her strong knowledge of both inside and outside of dance music. Her latest mix is as impressive as her cv. 🥀
