Inspired by the fiercely independent spirit of Ballard’s legendary “refuse to sell” resident, Edith Macefield, the MACEFIELD MUSIC FESTIVAL is produced through the collaborative efforts of the Ballard community, sponsored by The Stranger, KEXP, and in partnership with MusiCares. Now in its second year, the MACEFIELD MUSIC FESTIVAL features local, up-and-coming performers alongside national acts fr

om all musical genres, playing on seven stages throughout venues along Ballard Avenue. We are also expanding the format to include non-wristband features like a night-market, poster show, record swap, mobile food court with beer & drink gardens and more!
