LOCALLY GROWN FLOWERS & BRITISH GROWN FLOWERS 💐

Hey guys so i have a new supplier of british grown flowers, woo! 🎉

This means i have 2 suppliers for summer flowers (bunches, jam jars & bouquets). Depending on which supplier i use at the time of ordering, depends on what flowers i will get. But i will be getting sunflowers 🌻 this unfortunately means prices may change on a weekley basis 🌸

All orders must be preordered.
Delivery & collection in Hoghton.
There may not always be curbside pick up, but i will try and have some out, (also this is weather dependant).

Jam jars come in there own little bag with flower food.
Bunches are wrapped and tied with raffia, with flower food attached.

Locally grown sunflowers, strawflowers, larkspurs, statice and cornflowers 🌸

Available to preorder in a week or so, or pick up curbside from Hoghton 🌼

Jam jars are filled with an array of beautiful flowers and the jar is decorated with ribbon. All jam jars come in a paper bag with a care sheet, flower food and can come with a little card for you to write (for a gift to someone) 🌺

Sunflower bunches are filled with a gorgeous mix of flowers including sunflowers. They are wrapped in paper/cellophane/tissue and tied with a raffia bow. They come with a care sheet, flower food and a note (if needed) 🌻

Absolutely gutted to say i wont be doing Southport Flower Show this year as the catergory i wanted was full and there was only 3 places left in the whole floral arts part! (which have probably been taken now) 😭💐
But i am going to come back next year! 💪 this is such a weird feeling for me! 😭 but life obviously has a different path for me 💐

Whoop whoop!!! Came 3rd in my comp 'twigs with a zing'! Spent weeks on it making the frame from twigs, spray painting it orange, foraging, sorting my moss, getting new mechanics! All completely foam free! 💐💐💐

Had some tough competition and didnt think id get placed!

If you want to see the flower show its at the marble place by tk maxx in southport, until tomorrow, ive also included 1st and 2nd winners in the pics 💐

Keep your flowers fresh by following these quick tips...

* keep your flowers away from draughts, heat direct sunlight etc.

* every 2-4 days, rinse the vase, change the water, cut stems with sharp scissors on a 45° angle about half an inch or so from the bottom.

* when you put your flowers back in the vase, make sure the stems and water are clear of leaves, flowers, debris etc. These will cause mould and destroy your flowers.

* make sure you choose a suitable vase for your flowers. The vase needs to support your flowers, you dpnt want them falling over or drooping over the vase. The vase also needs to be wide or small enough depending on how many flowers are there. You dont want a wide vase with a few flowers spread sparingly around the vase. You also dont want a small vase stuffed with many flowers squashed together.

* roses, daffodils, lillies like their own water before being put in with other flowers. Keep them in seperate vases for 24hrs then you can mix then in with other flowers.

* daffodils kill other flowers, to stop this cut your daffs to the desired length then leave in a seperate vase for 24hrs before putting in with other flowers. Dont recut the stems as the sap will kill the flowers, if you do recut seperate for 24hrs.

* tulips will grow everyday, so dont worry if you cut them too short! They also grow towards the sun so turn your vase around daily for an even look.
