Happy Holidays! 🎄I hope everyone enjoys their Christmas with loved ones! I’m taking off now until next week which means nothing work related. I need this time off to recharge, relax, & enjoy this time with my loved ones. I’ll be back in “my office” aka on my laptop next week so reach back out then if you need anything! Until then, I won’t respond until next week.☺️

I’ve been to this venue numerous times now and I still love it every time I go. Maybe b/c at core it’s the southern girl in me. (I was born & raised in VA 😘) it’s so uniquely rustic! If you love western movies/cowboy/cowgirl vibes.. then you have to visit Circle M City ✨ With all this being said.. meet Mr & Mrs. Raines; these two got married Saturday and I can’t wait to share more of them!

Got to spend a little of my evening yesterday behind the camera with this pretty woman. Can you believe that this isn’t a wedding gown and also that she isn’t nestled in a tropical rain forest? 😜 *This is Wylanda’s prom dress that she is wearing for her adult prom (yes, ADULT prom where all the adults get all cute and spiffy 💕 and the “tropical Forest” is just weeds I tucked her into in a downtown parking lot. lol - gosh I just love being a photographer because creativity is so unlimited 😍

I love everyone I meet on this journey but do you ever just have some people who are just your absolute favorite? Stephanie & Tyler said “I do” last weekend and hands down are one of my favorite couples. Their natural energy, their genuine love, their authenticity.. is just everything that you long for in a person. If you know them or have met them then you know exactly what I mean. The only time I get excited about bathrooms is at Buc-ees and Twickenham! Raigan was just doing her thing in this cute little bathroom and we tried not to miss a thing! It’s rare that we get overly emotional at weddings, just being honest, we do so many! But there was something about Jaz & Daniel that just struck a cord in you! The way he gripped her during their poses was telling of a man who is holding his wife as her protector and great love. The way they got lost in each other and forgot about the cameras and the vendors. The way her dad gave a speech about Jaz being a surprise birth as they were done having kids and were practicing every birth control method possible only for God to show up and say he had different plans. A lot of emotions on this day and a lot of love! We wish them the best on their journey together and we celebrate with them in their great love! For the film dorks out there, this was my first time on the FX30 and first time shooting S-Cinetone! Definitely felt pleased with the baked in colors and contrast.
