This past weekend was magical with the sweetest brides! 🤍 I have so many amazing pictures to share, but wanted to start off with this one of the bride’s bouquet, because captured it perfectly!
Loving on those summer dahlias with the subtle pops of zinnias and the dancing larkspur along with the dara from . The best of the best!
This view and this bridal party couldn’t be more perfect! We loved this color palette so much. Using your florals to add that pop of color while keeping everything else neutral is a great way to keep the romantic feel but still mixing in color. Loved working with our bride to come up with this palette!
One of the most magical freestanding arches we have ever created! Between the peonies and dahlias, it will go down as one of our all tiem favorites. Thanks for sharing this photo !
We love a dahlia boutonniere! Especially with a little explosion grass accent.
Loads of texture! The red dahlia here is called Giraffe. To me, it’s one of the most unique we have ever grown. But it only has a few weeks of prime bloom time. It’s worth it to see it every year, but we don’t let it take up too much prime space.
How we feel about it being the first day of summer. Happy Summer Solstice!!
Reflecting on some of our favorite spring blooms as summer flowers are making their debut 🤍

We adore the way these personal floral details frame this photo. Between the floral hair comb and the boutonniere, they so perfectly tie it all together.
It’s March and snowing in Tahoe, yet you are still getting married in what feels like a field of flowers. We love the power of floral design. Amazing couple and vendor team 🤍

As dahlia season is approaching, I need to take a quick moment to highlight my favorite dahlia of the 2023 season. KAs Mocha Katie is so versatile. Can be used in palettes from peach to coral to beiges to burgundies. We will be growing alot more of it this upcoming season! Florists and flower lovers- what palette would you use KAs Mocha Katie in?
Those details ✨
Images of this bouquet always get us day dreaming of summer blooms ✨
Want some flow and movement to your bouquets? Cosmos are the key. The cupcake cosmos in these bouquets give so much dimension to the perfectly neutral creamy palette.
Happy Spring!!
This was one of our most unique bouquets of last season, mainly because it was 90% flowers grown in Northern Nevada. How cool is that? From the echinops to the scabiosa to the balloon flowers, blooms created some of the most amazing texture. We are so lucky to have amazing locally grown flowers here!
We love a full sweetheart or head table for a feature moment at the reception. We encourage reusing your ceremony pieces in your reception area when possible for an opportunity to tie your wedding palette together throughout the event.
Free standing arches are an incredible way to frame your ceremony. Plus, they can be easily transported to your reception to increase your color palette throughout the space.
Fresh fruit is a favorite way to include color and unique texture on your tablescapes 🍊🍋
More of this vibrant color this season 😍
We are currently gearing up for our second wedding of 2024, but are still feeling inspired by this wedding from last season 🤍
Bouquet close up from . Layers of dahlias, sweet pea, orlaya, roses, phlox, and local peonies 🤍
Bridal bouquets and Lake Tahoe may just be my all time favorite combination 😍 More of this in 2024
Happy 2024!! Cheers to a wonderful 2023 full of flowers 🥂
When we create bouquets, we always design with the venue in mind. Wanting to make sure our blooms compliment the environment. This bouquet is full of local blooms along with fern which looks beautiful against the granite, lake, and pine trees at The Hideout.
