I have a reputation for taking incredible care of couples just like you and can't wait to surprise and delight you. I split my time between the most beautiful coastal regions of Virginia and Michigan and my passport is current and ready for destinations abroad. My work has earned an Accolade of Excellence by Wedding and Portrait Photographers International, is published widespread in books and mag

azines, and has won me the Best of Weddings nod by The Knot Magazine ten years in a row (2010-2019). Most recently, I became one of only a handful of photographers to be inducted into The Knot's Best of Weddings Hall of Fame.

It felt like sacrilege to photograph Claude Monet’s flower garden and waterlily pond with a tack-sharp digital camera, so I brought along my vintage, plastic, toy cameras to honor his vision a little more faithfully on film. #🪷⁠

The last total eclipse of my heart was on America’s front porch at the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island. It’s a special experience to witness “bigger than us” phenomena with a bunch of strangers. I love the brief moment we all feel vulnerable enough to collectively let our guards down and relish in the fact that we’re all just clueless buffoons trying our best to find meaning and purpose in whatever the heck we’re all doing here. I hope today gives you some perspective and clarity. # 🌑⁠

Several years ago, I received a DM from a Virginia event planner saying, "I'm a Michigander, myself!" I challenged her for the official secret password: "What part? 👉🏻✋🏻" And goodness gracious, she was legit! It's been so rewarding enjoying that shared sentimentality on top of our working relationship over the years. And when it came time for their own wedding, I couldn't wait to celebrate K&R's families. It's a unique and special experience to celebrate fellow wedding pros, and I'm grateful for the team that came together to lift these two up over the weekend. From Lake Michigan to the Blue Ridge Mountains, the only thing missing was the Tim Allen narration of the commercials. Congratulations, K&R and thank you for including us in the fun! #💙⁠
