We seek to truly know our couples so that we can create a film that is authentic to who they are. Every story is different and magical in its own way, and we want every bit of that shine through in our films. Your wedding day isn't the only component of your beautiful love story. There's so much more. How did it begin? Why did you fall in love with each other? What drew you in and fascinated you so much that you decided to spend your whole life with each other? Our passion lies in artfully telling a story that answers all of these questions–a story so worthy of being preserved uniquely. Heyyyyy it’s been a minute since we popped on our grid and introduced ourselves. There’s so many new friends here, so it’s about time we share a little bit about us for the newbies.
We are Rob & Adalenne! Husband and wife team out here trying to capture the essence of some really cool couples’ love for each other. It’s been about 8 years since we fell in love & started this business. It’s hard to believe how far we have come & all that we’ve been blessed to experience and create.
I remember sitting in a dark church nursery room in 2016 before shooting a ceremony and just dreaming together… thinking what if this became a REAL job that allowed us to travel the world and sustain our family? It felt super far fetched back then.
The journey has had its high highs and low lows. Each year has brought its own unique challenges. There’s been moments I wanted to quit and moments I literally couldn’t imagine doing anything else with my life. Through all of it, I’m just grateful. I am thankful God saw us fit to do something so meaningful, fulfilling, and downright fun these past 8 years.
Anyways, I didn’t mean to go all sappy. I wanted to share some fun facts about us too 🤠
1. Adalenne is an extrovert - sort of impulsive and definitely silly. Rob is an introvert - pretty cautious and secretly sillier than Adalenne.
2. We love all Asian cuisine - especially Japanese and Korean and Thai food 🤤
3. Rob is a Manchester City psycho fan and definitely has had Erling Haaland his phone background way too often.
4. Adalenne loves anything miniature and cute.
5. We are huge fans of Studio Ghibli films, slice of life anime, Kingdom Hearts, Apex Legends, and binge worthy dramas.
6. Some of our favorite bands are Bad Suns, Coldplay, Fleet Foxes, Hippo Campus, Bon Iver, Odesza, Grouplove, Post Malone, The Japanese House, DWLLRS, Chelsea Cutler.
7. Favorite movies of all time are School of Rock, Interstellar, A Goofy Movie, and Spirited Away.
8. We have two Siberian huskies named Haku & Kairi.
9. Our #1 bucket list visit is Japan.
10. Rob is an excellent country singer, but only the real ones get to hear it.

This film will forever leave a mark on me. As I’ve put it together, I’ve been continually reminded of the importance of memories, the value of time, and the goodness of God. It’s just another reminder of how important this job is to us. I have so much to say about Hunter & Tori and how special just being a part of this day was for us, but I’ll save it for when we share the full film. Enjoy this teaser for now :)

5 years. I can’t even scratch the surface on what our marriage has given me. Innumerable moments of happiness and bliss. We’ve laughed until tears streamed down our cheeks so many times. We’ve celebrated and danced and traveled the world and romanced each other and lived some of the most incredible experiences by each other’s side.
But, those of us who are married know that’s not all that marriage contains. We all know marriage is one of the most challenging things you’ll ever experience, and if you don’t know that yet—you will.
But, truthfully the reward of great joy could only exist by the stretching and changing and sacrificing of self that real love requires of us. When we stand at the altar or on the mountaintop or wherever it is that we exchange our vows, the true weight of that commitment isn’t truly felt yet because rarely has it been tested before that day. Never has your love been tested within a covenant. It’s new territory, whether you realize it or not.
It’s within that covenant that you find what it really means to love someone in sickness and in health, in richer and poorer, in gain and loss, in success and failure, in bliss and pain. It will change you into a whole new person—if you let it. I am better because of him. It’s not because he loves me in a way that allowed me to stay the same or vice versa. We had to change.
The world says: find someone that allows you to live your way, follow your dreams, chase your career, keep your money, put yourself first. But, individualism doesn’t cultivate lasting love—it guarantees division. Each of us giving ourselves up for the other deepens our bond day by day, all the while making us look more and more like our Savior who gave himself up for us. I suppose it’s the whole reason this whole marriage thing even exists… God is so good, and his design is fascinating.
“For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh. This is a profound mystery—but I am talking about Christ and the church.” Ephesians 5:31-32

Happy birthday to my valentine. Rob is a lot of things for many people. He’s an amazing friend, son, uncle, brother, mentor, filmmaker, and husband. He has a quiet strength, and he’s one of the most empathetic people I’ve ever met. He really sees people and without hesitation puts them before himself. He serves me and leads me everyday in countless ways, and I don’t really know what I did to deserve such an incredible, Godly, selfless, loving life partner. He inspires me daily. He makes me want to be better. 29 is looking like it’s gonna be freaking amazing!!! I am so grateful we don’t have to waste a single moment apart and that we share everything in life together. Love you forever.

I truly don't even know where to begin with Jon & Rachel. Rachel reached out to us and immediately felt connected to the way we we tell stories. When we hopped on a Zoom call with her and Jon, we immediately felt so connected with them. We had so much in common, and we all instantly felt so comfortable together. They expressed how important their story was and how they wanted their film to be a true reflection of that. The words they used to describe their vision for their wedding were: intimate, moody, connection, moments, laidback, authentic and intentional – a true picture of our ethos as filmmakers. A perfect fit. Jon and Rachel let all walls down with us and were truly themselves–revealing their amazing personalities and deep love for each other. They really let us in, and that is what creates the foundation for an incredible film. We are so grateful for them, and we are so proud to be sharing a film that we believe is a perfect example of who we are at our core.

We hope all of our US folks had an amazing thanksgiving with your friends and families. It’s been so nice to get some rest and spend quality time with family.
Thanksgiving gives us a chance to pause and really think about everything we are so blessed to have. Not things—people, experiences, dreams, art & creativity, a relationship with a loving God. We spend so much time on the grind that we often lose sight of how blessed we are and how far we have come. It’s hard to believe the position we find ourselves in.
Years ago, at one of our first weddings, we sat in a little nursery room of a church dreaming about being full time traveling filmmakers. It felt like a distant dream. I thought for a long time it wasn’t attainable. But, God is sooo good! He is faithful to come through when he plants a dream in your heart. We are grateful that he never let us give up and has pushed us further than we ever believed we could go!
We are grateful for every single couple who has seen something in our work and in us that led them to trust us with life’s most precious moments—even going as far as to fly us across the planet to capture them. We are grateful for the friendships and memories we get to share forever with our couples. We are grateful for the support from our friends, family, vendors, mentors, mentees, and followers. We are grateful for all those who work hard to educate and elevate this industry, and I pray we can do the same!

We had the amazing opportunity to share our story to our local newspaper, DeSoto Times-Tribune. Looking back at the 19 and 20 year old us at the start of this journey, I never could have imagined we’d be published in the newspaper. I could have never predicted this being our full time jobs. There have been hills and valleys, but we are so blessed. We owe it all to God. He has given us gifts, a dream, and a passion for this. He sustains us and provides for us. Thank you to every person who has supported us and trusted us to capture one of the most important days of their life. Words are not enough to express our gratitude!

We are in the final stages of color on Amrit & Sheena’s film. This one is so special to us. I particularly loved these moments from the intro, and I felt they were best in black & white for a few reasons. One of them is that Sheena actually came across one of our reels last year that we had edited to a classical piano song and colored black and white. She immediately felt connected with our work & reached out to us for her and Amrit’s elopement in Cancún. It felt special to draw from that initial spark that connected them to us. Kicking off the new year (almost) with a teaser of @ryandc88 & @jasminedelcasino intimate garden elopement! I am so excited about their film because it’s the debut of our first roll of gorgeous super 8mm film! DUNCAN & NINA
Duncan & Nina – Through everything, they will remain. Nina said something so powerful that stuck with me as I edited their wedding film. She said, "we've been through the worst; we've been through the best. And, I know that he'll remain." That sentiment spoke volumes about their relationship, and it revealed what marriage meant to them. I felt so connected to this edit, and I believe it is a result of the connection we built with Duncan and Nina leading up to their wedding day. Not often do our couples invite us to lunch and seek to really know us. It's ironic, because our job is to know our couples, not really for them to know us. But, they truly cared to connect with us, and it just changed the way I felt as I worked on their edit. Connection is everything. As Rob and I stepped back and watched the final edit, my heart felt so full. When it was over, I had tears in my eyes because I just felt like we had created something that was true to them. That is what this job means to us. I am so thankful to Duncan and Nina for reminding us of that. It was a joy to be a part of such a special day! Kimberley Batt Howell had messaged us the week of her wedding worried about her father not being able to attend the wedding due to health issues. Video wasn't originally part of the budget, but she didn't want to not have the day documented in case her dad couldn't make it. We knew we had to make a way for this to happen for her! Thankfully, her father was able to make it, and they had the sweetest first look. It was such a sentimental, beautiful day. Thank you, Kimberley and David for choosing us!
