There is elegance in simplicity.

And sometimes a simple table setting is the perfect route to take to leave an impression on your guests.

However, there is a fine line between simple elegance and just “simple.” For your table to exude a more luxurious feel, try incorporating some different textures (not too many-keep it simple). These textured coup glasses were the perfect element to elevate this setting.

The idea for this brand takes me back to freshman year of college in San Diego. My first year in college, I would travel to Los Angeles many times to visit my older cousin, who is like a sister to me. She was the social butterfly I hoped to be one day, and I admired her bubbly personality and the way that she carries herself. We spent many of my college weekends together, but the fondest memories I have of those times are about the meals we’ve shared together. Whether it was a fancy dinner (she instilled in me at a young age the appreciation of fine dining) or a tea party in Beverly Hills with her friends, it was always so special.

Part of what made it special was the company (of course), but those were some of the first times that I actually felt like an adult. And when you’re a freshman in college and you get served good wine with dinner or a glass of champagne with your tea without even being carded, you really feel like you’ve made it in life (believe me!). It’s funny how a little luxury like champagne can make you feel so mature and refined. The fact that I was able to drink a nice glass of champagne along with my cousin and her friends made me feel like I belonged there. And as someone who’s always acted mature for my age, that high of feeling like I belonged among those ladies is something I’ll always remember.

The champagne cork logo always takes me back to those glittering moments of feeling sophisticated and enjoying cheery times- times of feeling fun and flirty and celebratory. Simply put: champagne brings up such bright, happy feelings when I think of those who I’ve shared it with in the past, and the situations where I’ve enjoyed a glass. Those are the feelings that I aim to embody with my brand…

On your special day, you deserve happiness. You deserve luxury. And you deserve to be celebrated and toasted to.

So let’s pop the cork and celebrate you.

Do you have a family member, Best Man, or Maid of Honor who will be giving a toast at your wedding? Or will you be giving a toast at an upcoming wedding? If you answered “Yes” to either of the above questions, then this post is for you!

Not sure how to do a toast? Here’s an easy-to-follow template that won’t get you booed:

Step 1: Start by introducing yourself and talking about how you know the Bride and/or Groom.

Step 2: Talk about the person you knew before meeting their spouse and then connect it to how the person is now with the spouse.

Step 3: Talk about the first time you met the spouse and what you think of them.

Step 4: End with happy wishes for the future and "Cheers!" (don't forget to raise your glass during the "Cheers!").

This can be completely customized with some humor or personal style, and should be kept to 5 minutes or less to keep the audience’s attention.
