Dear all,
I got a message from Archeon that after the ascension weekend they found a white linen bag with 2 knives, 2 drinking horns and fighting gloves. Please let me know if this is yours so it can be returned to the owner 🙂.

Hey all,
I still have a couple of lost and found items:
- 1 bronze bracelet
- 3 wooden deep plates
- 1 wooden cup
- 2 earthenware cups
- 1 set of keys (modern)
If you are missing any of these please let me know.
I will keep a hold of any items for a year and afterwards they will be given to the people who found the items.

Dear all,

The dates for 2025 have been set!

I will send out emails as well, but already hereby:
- Ascension: 28 May - 01 June (arrival possible on 28, 29 and 30 May)
- Viking week: 17 to 24 August (arrival possible on 17, 18, 19, 20, 21 and 22 August).

Invitations for ascension will be sent out next year and for the viking week after the ascension event.

I want to thank everyone for a great event and hope you all had a great time and have had some time to rest and unpack.

Looking at the damages the downburst on Saturday did throughout the country i'm glad most of us got out unscathed and hope for the ones that didn't the damages can be repaired soon.

I sent out an email to all regarding some lost and founds, let me know if you are missing any of the found items so we can return them to their owners.

Hope to be able to confirm the dates for 2025 soon and to see you all again next year.

Hey all,
All prepared.
I Will be at the back gate or dorestad.
The people who are placed at the back of the park can already build up at 17.00. Please check with me at the back gate if that includes your group (please don't block the gate).
Lastly, there have been some trespassers in the park during the evenings lately (youth). Please make sure to re-close Gates behind you if they are closed (so they look locked).

Dear all,
The Archeon has decided that they will be open on Monday 19 August after all, meaning that arrival throughout the day on that day is no longer possible.
The arrival date has changed now to either Sunday 18 August after 17.30 or Monday 19 August after 17.30.
My apologies for the late change in the planning.
Looking forward to seeing everyone next week.

The confirmations have been sent out to everyone.
A note for our merchants: If you send me a short text (in English) and picture of your wares before 1 August, Archeon will include this in their promotion of the event.

Working hard on the finalization of the planning for the viking week.
I am awaiting some final confirmations and details, but expect to be able to send out the confirmations (and sadly also some less good news) this weekend, but ultimately start next week.

Dear all,
The invitations for the viking week in August have just been sent out again and you should receive these in your mailbox shortly.
We are looking forward to your applications and of course let us know if you have any questions.
We might have the option to sleep inside if you do not have a tent to sleep in or to stay longer after the event. If this is something your interested in, please mention this on your application so we can check the options with Archeon beforehand.

I wanted to thank everyone who joined the ascension event for a fun, stress-free event.
Was great to see all of you again!
I will send out the invitations for the viking week in August soon and am looking forward to seeing you all there again.
Luckily this time not a lot of lost and found items, only 1 bronze coloured earring at the Saturday party. Let me know if this might be yours.

The confirmations (and sadly some rejections) have just been sent out to everyone. If you have any questions or did not receive it, please reach out to me as soon as possible.
I can not add anyone to the list or waiting list anymore, but if you would like to join as a day participant that is still possible. In that case, please send me an email.

Working on the final planning and confirmations will be sent soon.
We are already fully at capacity, so we can't add any new applications to the list.
Of course if you still want to come, let me know and we can add you to the waitlist.

It's going very fast with the applications this year and we're already over half of the maximum amount of participants we can host this ascension.

If you are planning on coming, please send in your application as soon as possible.

Good evening,
We have just sent out the invitations for the ascension event and you should receive this in your mailbox shortly.

Please take note of the following 2 changes for this event:
1. The "Grijze jager dagen" will no longer be on the same weekend
2. We have been growing in participants a lot in the last couple of years, which of course is great, but since we are becoming too full, Archeon has set a maximum amount of participants.

Please send in your application as soon as possible, but ultimately on 22 March.
