I'm a respiratory therapist, wife, mother, and a DIY enthusiast and designer of all things bright and happy! Event Accessories by MJ is my home-based event accessories and planning business! After being talked into it by several friends and family, I decided to start selling my items here on Etsy in June 2013. I have loved all kinds of art and crafts since I was a little girl and I always hoped th

at I could find something I love to do and turn it into something more. I started getting into event planning by hosting and planning many wedding showers, baby showers, birthday parties, my own wedding, and etc. Once I had my 2 girls (toddlers 13 months apart!), I found all the inspiration I needed! After my first daughter’s 100th Day and 1st Birthday Parties, I took my tower decorations to a new level and my talent for these towers has really developed over the past couple of years. I ABSOLUTELY love making cute towers/go ims for girls and boys! I couldn’t be where I am without my wonderful, supportive husband, as well as all of my loving friends and family.
