Spectrum in Suspension

Opening event Tues June 11th 5:30pm

Spectrum in Suspension is a collection of works born of experimentation, all created using mixed media ranging from food colouring to ink pen, giving these pieces a rare vibrancy and energy. Each work is complimented by a piece of poetry that tells a story and links each artwork with each other.

A huge thank you to everyone who came to last night's opening of Plural Realities by Stuart Clook Photography

The exhibition will be showing until Sunday June 2nd. Art Hole will be open 11am-4pm this week, come down for a visit! We're at 336 St Asaph St, in the same building as darkroom

This exhibition showcases the work Stuart has made during his residency with our down-the-road neighbours Photosynthesis

Located at 400 St Asaph St, Photosynthesis is an affordable, community-centred, non-profit photo studio equipped with the space and equipment to support visual artists to create high-quality art in.

This week at Art Hole we are hosting HEAVENLY MARYS: Mothers and Madonnas

Last night's opening was beautiful! Artist Anne Harte welcomed guests to the gallery with a feast for all of our senses.

Her portrait paintings of matriarchal figures were lit by candles as guests arrived, the smell of sandalwood incense filling the air. There was a gorgeous spread of Mediterranean food to fit the theme, while a perfect sound track of opera played over the sound system.

If you didn't make it along last night the gallery is open 1-4pm daily through until the end of this week. Come through for a visit!

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to Objectify - Art Exhibition Opening Night last night, and congrats to our wonderful artists Roseanne Jones, Sheelagh McHaffie, Maria Lee and Roezy Thorn.

The gallery is open today (Weds May 1st) until Sunday 5th May 11am - 2pm. Come visit!

Plenty of works available at the very reasonable prices, and 20% of sales from this exhibition will be donated to the Breast Cancer Foundation.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to last night's opening event for Form and Emptiness by Siobhan O'Brien

This exhibition is a selection of works from 2021-present, showing how the artist's work has evolved from an exploration of the concept of 'Basic Goodness' to that of the notions of form and emptiness in Buddhism. Form emerges out of and dissolves into space, as everything, both gross and subtle, comes into existence, reaches fruition, and dissipates.
