Music fans & players - join open mic on an outdoor stage in Old Ellicott City! Players get to perform up to 3 songs either solo or with others, it's up to you. We provide a full PA, drum kit, 1 guitar amp, 1 music stand & sanitized mics. Other instruments will be run directly thru the PA. You are welcome to bring your own mic & amp. Please sign in when you arrive. There is no 'house band' performa

nce that you have to sit through. We kick off with the 1st set of players so less waiting around for your turn. Please plan to grab a snack from The Little Market Cafe - no outside food allowed. THIS EVENT IS OUTDOORS & weather dependent. An update post will be made by 3pm the day of if the weather is iffy. Little Market Cafe located off the big parking lot in Old Ellicott City at:

Our Story

Got talent? All talent levels and music styles are welcome in friendly neighborhood settings with a focus on acoustic performers. Sign-ups start 15 min before the posted performance time. Since it's not a jam, your stage time is your own. Covers are cool. Full bands can be easily accommodated with advance notice, drum kit not provided. If you aren’t hauling a kit or a lot of gear, just roll on in, no notice needed. JUDGE’S BENCH (8385 Main St, Ellicott City MD) 8:45pm 2nd 3rd & 5th Tuesdays of each month STATE FARE (748 Frederick Rd, Catonsville MD) 9:30pm every Thursday Gear provided: PA system, mics, monitor etc... DI boxes that can handle guitars, bass & keys. You don’t need to haul an amp unless you want to. Musicians need to bring their instruments, no ‘house’ drums or guitars will be available.
