Well, it's time to move on folks!

First of all, a massive thank you to EVERYONE and ANYONE who has supported me on my journey as BadJah. Whether you've been there since day 1 or not, it's truly appreciated.

But now, after 12 years, it's time for me to move forward artistically, and push newer boundaries...

In case you didn't already know - in 2022 I started the kontract0r alias to express and further explore my love for Trance, Techno and Rave music. This is where my main focus will be from now on.

So if you'd like to carry on supporting and following my journey onto the next chapter, it would mean the world to me if you'd give kontract0r a follow on all socials and platforms 🙏🏼

It's been an absolute pleasure and honour, signing out now 👋

Come celebrate New Year's Eve with myself and arguably some of the best DJs from Bolton & Wigan for the last shindig of the year.

Me & BitLoud will be playing a 130-160 bpm set at the The York in Bolton, for the Spectrum Promotions Side2Side Special event as part of an amazing line up (last slide).

This will be second time we've gone B2B but the first time in a live setting - as the last time was all the way back in 2021 for the virtual Parallax Festival (if you know you know).

So stoked for this! Come down if you're want a good, cheap rave this Bank Holiday weekend and support your local DJs. Especially cos it's free entry!

Thank you for all your support this year.

Artistically, it's been quite hard and a lot of times I felt like giving up to be honest. I haven't actually expressed that truth to anyone. A part of me had been hoping, for a while, that I could get some things back to how they used to be - regular DJ sets every week, motivation to try production, etc - but I had to come to realization sooner or later and accept that s**t changes. What I am grateful for is that I can still do what I love doing, but it doesn't have to be the way it used to be for me to enjoy it or feel like "I'm going somewhere". I'm only going somewhere based on what I think is best for me - that's what I should have realized before letting myself go into a bit of a pit where I was completely demoralised. I'm the only one who can change that for myself.

Anyways, some good things also happened...

- I started a new alias - - which I think in the long run is going to make things a lot more organized, especially for me mentally.

- I joined my longtime friends over at to help them grow and run the best underground bass music events in Bolton (& beyond one day hopefully).

- I started doing little music recommendation list videos on my TikTok, which may not seem like a massive achievement but it's more something I've found so much fun and satisfying to do.

I want to thank everyone who has supported me as DJ, artist and as a person this year. All the legends and heads I've met as well as those who have been there with me for a while (you know who you are).

See you in 2023.
