In our ongoing quest to be a highly diverse and adaptable catering provider, a little better than a year ago, we journeyed into film catering and crafty service. A fast paced, ever changing, industry that requires an adaptable catering team. Over the last 2 1/2 weeks we have wrapped 3 different projects that all overlapped one another which made our job even tougher. The first film was Body Cam which filmed almost completely at night. We fed them at midnight and as late as 2:30 am. The second film to wrap was Sweet Summer Love that we fed breakfast and lunch (which was mid afternoon) to on several different locations. With a cast and crew of 40, there were days this doubled with back ground adding up to 45 more people. The final progect to wrap just this week was a reality TV show called The Sugar Mama … not what you think!!! Google it to get the info as our NDA limits what we can say and I don’t want to risk that. This project was the most difficult contract we have engaged in. With 90 cast and crew being fed 3 meals a day, sometimes as early as 7:00 am and then as late as 10:00 pm it made for very long days. While being stretched to new limits, our staff did a great job. This was all on top of our regular contracts and clients.
No matter what the project, we are a leader when it comes to adaptability and diversity needed for special projects so give us a call when you need a catering partner.
