Opening Commissions for Drag Costumes!! First off, let me say that I am not a "designer", I am a seamstress (for example: I don't do pageant gowns!) . I work from patterns or existing costumes if you want to have a remake. Second, I get a lot of questions about cost so here it is: My costs are: $50 a day plus cost of materials if I am going off a pattern, $75 a day plus cost of materials if I have to "frankenstein" patterns together or work from an existing costume. Full length ruffle coats are $250 which includes materials and labor. Send me a private message and I will seek to schedule you. What I need to know from you: What you are seeking to have made/remade/repurposed; date you need it by. Once I set my schedule for July and August I will require a minimum $50 deposit ($75 if it is a more intricate process) and we can set a date for measurements, discussion, etc. Some photos of past commissions/works are in the comments.
