After more than a year’s warning period, Missouri’s new Hands-Free Law goes into effect on Wednesday, January 1st.

Last year, 106 people were killed in distracted driving crashes in Missouri.

The first offense is $150, which goes up to $500 if the violation occurs in a School Zone, or a Construction Zone.
